Love stopping into this place while on vacation, whether it’s for wonderful Maine potatoes or local jam or some pretty garden statue. The people are always friendly.

I'm so glad we decided to stop when we drove past this place. There are stone sculptures out front and a beautiful green house. I bought the most beautiful spider plant and some Maine made jam that I am so excited to try. Amanda was so friendly and so helpful. She helped us carry the plants to the car and gave us some great local restaurants to try.

We came here after dropping the kids off at Monkey C Monkey Do. No new review after over seven years because as far as I could tell, all pretty much the same except my kids are adults now. Anyway, wife and I took a short trip and came across North of the Border and all of their outdoor statues, lobster traps, and flowers/plants. We decided to make a stop. Besides everything outdoors, there was a nice sized building with other objects and foods like jams and syrups. Some of the pieces were homemade and others not, prices seemed to be reasonable. The cashier/owner? was more than helpful talking about the products and running the shop. We spent about $50 on a cast iron octopus paper towel holder and a concrete welcome dragon. Two new pieces of Maine to bring back home.

The antique wooden architecture of the North of the Border structures is really striking as you drive by, and I finally stopped by to check it out. The main building (barn) is a garden shop that has flowers, plants, vegetable seedlings, statuary, homemade jams, fresh seasonal strawberries and blueberries, some baked goods, paintings and prints, wall hangings, pottery, and different odds and ends. There are dozens of old lobster traps in the yard and several more statues. I was surprised that they didn't have more items for sale in the barn because there was plenty of room without it being cluttered. Some of the other buildings are private and not open to the public. It's a very unique property.

Great place to shop for outdoor statues of all sizes. Unfortunately they were cleaned out of bird baths, but there were a lot of other outdoor ornaments to choose from. There are also plants and other gift ideas inside. Customer service was so welcoming and helpful.

Good selection and reasonable prices for herbs and other plants ready to put in vegetable and flower gardens. Lowest price I have found for mats made out of lobster rope. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Amazing family owned nursery. Everyone is so nice and the prices are more than reasonable. I never go anywhere else and refer anyone I know to them. You are missing out if you've never been there!

Bought our Christmas tree there this year. Their prices are fair. No corporate price gauging.
