Wiscasset Woods Lodge is a cozy, warm place located in a central area on Route 1, perfect for lots of activities. It blends century-old charm with modern comforts, offering vintage cabins and motel rooms that are quaint, simply decorated, clean, and comfortable. The location is peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect Midcoast retreat between Bath and Boothbay, away from more touristy areas. Guests highlight the excellent, delicious homemade breakfast each morning, which is amazingly good and includes items like cobbler. The staff are wonderful, super helpful, friendly, nice, and welcoming. The lodge is pet-friendly and dog-friendly, with a wooded trail on the property. It is a clean place where rooms have everything needed, though some note a rustic side with occasional musty smells or lumpy pillows. Parking is convenient, right in front of the cabins. Its prime location is near a town just minutes away with good restaurants. Many guests state it is the best place they have stayed and highly recommend it, planning to return as their go-to spot.

Very nice! Was treated like family and had a wonderful conversation with the caretakers! Clean and very well maintained. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable with a great view from the porch. Located close to great dining and services. Definitely recommend!!

Probably not for those desiring spas and hot tubs but that's NOT me. Rustic, clean , and comfortable beds. Great location. Great breakfasts. I will be back.
