756 US-1, Yarmouth“This review is for the Yarmouth, ME Hannaford. Today I switched Hannafords from Falmouth to Yarmouth. I had had unpleasant checkout experiences in Falmouth and thought the Yarmouth store might be more helpful. Boy, am I glad I switched! The Yarmouth store does not appear to be quite as large, but the checkout was less stressful. Where I was previously rushed and my produce bruised, today I was treated to the kind of customer service Maine used to be known for. A young man named Will went out of his way to ask whether I wanted the meat bagged, and if I found everything. I laughed and said, "no, but I've given up." I expected him to let the comment pass, but instead he insisted on looking up my missing items, and offered to send someone for the them. "It's no trouble!" I didn't take him up on it, but the thorough and thoughtful attitude was a really nice change. I noticed that his coworkers appreciated his help and that they worked as a team, as well. Will, your kindness is contagious and makes a simple shopping trip a pleasure!”

478 US-1, Yarmouth“The drive thru pharmacy is great! Very quick and easy...got a print out for 2019 purchases and a refill in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, we had to go directly TO the pharmacy because the Walgreens (in this Southern Maine area anyway!) new phone system is a runaround and ridiculous! This is a complaint I've only recently experienced, but had heard from numerous people recently, even employees of Walgreen.”
