“The staff in this CVS are available when you need help. I observed the pharmacist speaking with customers, and I also observed a pharmacy tech speaking with customers. I, myself, did not use the pharmacy, but I did take note of how the customers were treated so very well and with respect. There was also communication in a friendly manner.
That is so very important to those of us who don’t feel well or anxious about our conditions. It was not only good customer service. It was an observation of people being very kind to one another. Very best to all”

“I just moved back to Maine after 23 years in Oregon so I need all the help I can get. This Hannaford's has the nicest bunch of people working at their store. I believe it was Rene who billed me out and said she would wait while I went over to get my recycling bags. i started out by going to the wroing Kiosk and the Dawn came over to help me. She was absolutely LOVELY! She typed up all my indormation and got my account set up. Then I was on my way. Thank you for being such a wonderful Hannafords!! It is employees and poeple like you all that make the world a better place! Thnak you!!!”

They were on top of getting ahold of us for the details they needed. They called my husband yesterday but the number went straight to spam (my husband gets a lot of robo calls!) and we didn't realize what had happened until right after they closed. But then this morning they called again literally 5 minutes after opening and we were able to get everything ironed out for our 18 year old cat's prescription.
Even though they were a little short tempered over the phone, the in-person interaction was awesome. They're just crazy busy!”

“My Primary Care Physician set me up with a mail order prescription. I stopped by the Falmouth Walmart pharmacy yesterday to ask them some questions about pricing and refilling it locally. Two people (one was the manager and another woman) were super helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and they even answered a bunch of my questions about the drug even though I had not made the initial purchase from them. Great Service.”

“This review is for the Yarmouth, ME Hannaford. Today I switched Hannafords from Falmouth to Yarmouth. I had had unpleasant checkout experiences in Falmouth and thought the Yarmouth store might be more helpful. Boy, am I glad I switched! The Yarmouth store does not appear to be quite as large, but the checkout was less stressful. Where I was previously rushed and my produce bruised, today I was treated to the kind of customer service Maine used to be known for. A young man named Will went out of his way to ask whether I wanted the meat bagged, and if I found everything. I laughed and said, "no, but I've given up." I expected him to let the comment pass, but instead he insisted on looking up my missing items, and offered to send someone for the them. "It's no trouble!" I didn't take him up on it, but the thorough and thoughtful attitude was a really nice change. I noticed that his coworkers appreciated his help and that they worked as a team, as well. Will, your kindness is contagious and makes a simple shopping trip a pleasure!”

They worked to have the prescription filled fast which I very much appreciated. My impression is that the customer service here is becoming a big focus and its showing.”

I went tonight to pick up a new medication which my insurance wouldn't cover but I did have a manufacturer coupon that I hoped would work, because it is absolutely out of our budget if we had to pay the cash price. I actually had multiple bad dreams last night that the coupon wouldn't work, so when I got there and they tried using the coupon and it didn't work, I was very worried and sad. The pharmacist was so nice and compassionate about the whole thing and said she would call them in the morning and hopefully get it worked out. I went out to my car and had not even driven out of the parking lot when I got a call back from the pharmacist saying she had gotten it to work!! I hurried back in and I don't know how but she managed to get the coupon to cooperate and I was able to get my medicine! I know they were busy and having worked in retail pharmacy for years I know how difficult it can be to find the time to troubleshoot when there is a problem like this. I am so thankful that she took the extra time to try one more thing,it meant the world to me! thank you so much!!!”

“The drive thru pharmacy is great! Very quick and easy...got a print out for 2019 purchases and a refill in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, we had to go directly TO the pharmacy because the Walgreens (in this Southern Maine area anyway!) new phone system is a runaround and ridiculous! This is a complaint I've only recently experienced, but had heard from numerous people recently, even employees of Walgreen.”
