Canadian Tire offers a wide selection of products, including specialty hardware and items not found at other local stores, saving customers a long trip. Prices and product quality are good. Customer service is often exceptional, with many kind and helpful staff members. Employees frequently take time to point customers in the correct direction, bring them right to the product, help carry items to the cash and to the car, and provide added assistance to make things easier. However, it can sometimes be hard to find helpful employees in less populated departments. The environment is affected by Christian music blaring from the sound system and, less frequently, soliciting at the entrance. This contributes to an environment where a stranger may accost customers in the aisles, making some feel extremely uncomfortable, stressed, embarrassed, and unsafe. For these customers, it is inappropriate and insulting, and they feel they cannot shop unmolested or in privacy and anonymity.
Still the only store I can go to and know exactly what's in stock and where in the store it is before ever setting foot inside.

Friendly service. Always look for the sales, everything goes on sale at some point. They do price match, even to Amazon. And they allow dogs in the store. Would give 5 stars, but the music they play at this location needs a serious upgrade that is inclusive of ALL their customers.
