“The bar is the best part of this place. Strippers on Friday and Saturday. Live bands on the weekend. Crappy karaoke on Monday tho. Recommend ordering food from surrounding restaurants. Lots of parking available. Bartenders offer preferential service to their kind only, if you get my drift.”
“It's a local pub with a lot of regulars. It was good back in the days when we working at Holy Family. Would go there on Fridays after work to unwind. Boys would make me sit in front to get attention. I guess I was the less ugliest out of the group. My last visit was very interesting with very deep conversations. Thanks for buying me a few rounds brother and sister. Hopefully girl you work it out or move on. Whatever be the case you got it.”
“I loved my stay, everything was clean, perfect location and friendly staff. But I would like to recognize a very kind person at the reception desk named Parheet, When my luggage didn’t arrive that night, he sent me a robe, slippers, water, a toothbrush, and toothpaste without hesitation. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made my day. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves for his excellent service. Thank you very much!

“Went for a Jets game, was a great location for that purpose. The rink is a 4 minute walk. Rooms are purposely minimalistic, and comfortable. The one quirk we did not enjoy, was you have to use your hotel key once in the room to turn the lights on. Thought that was strange, especially when you come back to the room after dark and have to fumble around for the key slot in the room.”

“I went for a Mystery Theatre Event and it was awesome. I didn't see food as an option there, but I did go to an interactive mystery. My Caesar drink was excellent. I love the old pin up & vintage cars posters and jukebox, vlts. The atmosphere was perfect for theme event. Good, free parking available.”
“We booked a few tables for a birthday party this weekend and the staff were so accommodating..let us bring in snacks and a cake..held some gift behind the bar for safekeeping. Royce the DJ was fantastic and was also so accommodating to our requests! The band that was playing was so good! Thank you! First time here and definately not my last!”

“Drunk people, of course. Have a good time when there. It smells like a bar if that's your thing. A karaoke night was pretty decent, All slot machines were paying out. Overall not bad for the area”

“It’s a good convenient location. My room was as expected, the sink and an outlet were kinda broken. Functional but not secured in place but it’s whatever. There’s a Tim hortons across the street and a McDonalds. There’s also an Asian supermarket down the block that should provide you bare necessities but that’s about it.”

Vlt's are not very good to me but I see other people winning. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed so no food to eat but they do have vending machines chips, chocolate bars. Staff is very friendly and the service is great.”

Rooms: Room have large windows,secure locks,newer flooring . And a nice warm temperature is maintained
Walkability: Close to winnipeg square all underground,Shops and eating locations as well banks without any further than crossing the street.”

“Rooms: Rooms are terrible. The hotel is infested with mice, cockroaches, and it's dirty.
Safety: Their security needs an improvement. There's always something going on there. People overdosing, fighting, dealing, and there's always cops or ambulance there. It's terrible”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and comfy the hotel was at night. The staff was really accommodating too, they’ve managed to provide me with an invoice 6 months after my stay when I requested it. It could be a good option for solo travelers who wish to stay on budget and looking for more adults only atmosphere (I usually could get easily awaken by kids running in the hallway while staying in more prestigious hotels).”

“If you're looking for good live music and a chill environment, this is the place! There are pool tables, vlt's, a dartboard game, a dancefloor, and patio. The drinks are fairly priced, and Little Bones (wings) is located below the bar. Depending on the day and which band is playing, it's hard to find somewhere to sit at times, but my friends and I don't have an issue with standing/dancing. The decor is very interesting. There are photos and memorabilia all over the walls from different singers/bands who've performed at the Royal George. I've been to this bar many times, and I always find something new to look at!”
