“If you're looking for good live music and a chill environment, this is the place! There are pool tables, vlt's, a dartboard game, a dancefloor, and patio. The drinks are fairly priced, and Little Bones (wings) is located below the bar. Depending on the day and which band is playing, it's hard to find somewhere to sit at times, but my friends and I don't have an issue with standing/dancing. The decor is very interesting. There are photos and memorabilia all over the walls from different singers/bands who've performed at the Royal George. I've been to this bar many times, and I always find something new to look at!”

“The bar is the best part of this place. Strippers on Friday and Saturday. Live bands on the weekend. Crappy karaoke on Monday tho. Recommend ordering food from surrounding restaurants. Lots of parking available. Bartenders offer preferential service to their kind only, if you get my drift.”

“It's a local pub with a lot of regulars. It was good back in the days when we working at Holy Family. Would go there on Fridays after work to unwind. Boys would make me sit in front to get attention. I guess I was the less ugliest out of the group. My last visit was very interesting with very deep conversations. Thanks for buying me a few rounds brother and sister. Hopefully girl you work it out or move on. Whatever be the case you got it.”

We arrived from Toronto for one night to see FOTR at Rainbow Stage but our planned accomodations had suddenly fallen through. The Forks Inn was at capacity, but Ximena and Harshdeep jumped on their sister hotel, The Mere's website, found us a room, contacted them to ensure the rate was as advertised and we called from the lobby and booked. Thank you for being fabulous embassadors of Winnipeg in general. We loved our 24 hours in 'The Peg'!!”

“A great option for business travel. I appreciated the room layout and amenities, including the kettle I was able to request free of charge. The room itself was well soundproofed, but consider bringing earplugs if street noises bother your sleep. The room was clean and spacious, and well ventilated and lit. My only negative note: the lack of a safe in the room gave me pause, as I would have appreciated a place to safely store my devices when I was away.”

“A great big thank you to the staff at the Norvilla!!! We reserved tables in the bar last weekend for a birthday party and from start to finish the experience was terrific! The staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful…we were able to bring in snacks, food, cake & balloons! The DJ and band were great and everyone had an awesome night! Highly recommend them for such an event, they were top notch!!!”

“Had a really great experience at Garrick Hotel Bar. The drinks were very good, and everything about the place was nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed, the space was clean and well maintained, and it was a great place to sit back and enjoy some drinks. The staff were friendly and made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a nice spot with a great atmosphere, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”
