“I usually buy lechon and mix mix from here because both are very tasty. However the mix mix tastes different now. I noticed it the taste and smell is VERY different eversince the new youngs location opened. At first I thought it was just a one time thing but I was wrong.

“My Honest Review of One Stop Meat Shop
When my family and I moved to Canada over two years ago, we didn’t know much about buying meat and I say this as a true meat lover. We love meat, obviously, because we’re Nigerians, and many Nigerians are passionate about meat. But we had no idea where to get affordable meat or whether we should be buying from the big stores, local shops, or African stores.
At the beginning, we just went to African stores and bought whatever we could afford. And if you know African stores, you know how expensive they can be, especially when it comes to meat and fish.
The very first place where we started buying meat at affordable prices and where we found a variety of options, especially offals like intestines, lungs, liver, and other protein sources like croaker fish, Titus fish, turkey, and chicken was One Stop Meat Shop.
One Stop Meat Shop has been our plug ever since. Even after we discovered meat sharing as another way to buy in bulk, we still go back to One Stop Meat Shop regularly to buy other parts of meat, especially offals, gizzards, and specialty cuts outside of regular beef.
Their prices are very affordable, their service is good, and while the ambience is just like a typical meat shop, it’s a place that continues to give us what we need, good service, great value, and meat we enjoy.
So if you're new in Canada and wondering where to buy affordable meat, especially if you're like me and enjoy variety, One Stop Meat Shop is definitely worth checking out.

“Metro meats is located on 121 Euclid street in the historic Point Douglas area of Winnipeg on the corner of Euclid st @ Grove ave. There is free street parking available. The store is small but has a wide variety of products including fresh meats, soda, candy, bread, and household items. They also sell lottery tickets. Great place and friendly service.”
