    “Probably the best experience I've ever had going into a specialty store like this. You can't find these kinds of chilies in big box stores really, and I was really surprised with the amazing deal for the chillies used to make for birria tacos and I'm guessing he was the owner but he immediately knew that I was picking up ingredients for that specific recipe. It was such a wholesome feel. He also suggested buying a mixed spice blend that the birria recipe calls for that has more than just the chillies so I bought both chillies and the blend ☺ I also don't live in Winnipeg. I'm from out of town but because of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere I experienced, I will be back to buy some corn tortillas before I make my birria tacos 😁”

And they used to allow me in early all the time. The prices for all of the ingredients they sell are really reasonable. With grocery prices rising, I recommend that you go to the shop for all of your African needs. They contain the vast majority of the items I require.”

And the cake itself wasn’t too sweet and loved the whipped frosting! It’s a 1/4 slab chocolate cake with custard filling for $32.99. 💕”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
