About Safeway Charleswood Centre
Safeway Charleswood Centre is a familiar, clean, and generally well-stocked grocery store, open until 11pm every day for late-night shoppers. Many find the atmosphere nicer and the staff pleasant, wonderful, helpful, professional, and very nice, with specific praise for the Deli counter. However, prices are often much higher than the competition, with some items being a little pricey or way higher. Some customers feel a sense of monopoly as the only major store in the area. Criticisms include difficulty finding assistance in the meat area, a lack of cashiers for bagging in the evenings, and produce that is sometimes not ripe or tasteless. The store is also noted for its beautiful flowers and praised for specific services like home delivery.
