“All of there staff was so nice and helpful. The manager angel was so nice and helpful. When testing out my shoes she told me a “secret” on how to not get blisters. She gave us a tip on how to use there water resistant spray. If I could have given a bigger number of stars I would we will definitely be going here instead of sport check better prices and nicer staff and if you are out of town angel gives extra time for returns or exchanges. I love this place!!”

“Under Armour has a very large store with an excellent variety of products, from shoes to T-shirts, pants, accesorios, and more. They always offer great discounts, and the clothing is diverse, comfortable, and good quality. Customer service is excellent from the moment you walk in, making the shopping experience truly enjoyable. The only thing I would add is that they could offer more lifestyle sneakers and sports hoodies. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to shop!”

“When you walk in this store and the sales man remembers you from your last purchase. That says it all. I came in to be fitted for some new clubs and I was approached by this same gentleman who was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable he put up with me, my sass, laughter, and stupid jokes for over an hour. “Amazing and spacious sports store. For me, it’s the best athletic brand on the market, with a wide variety of high-quality leggings and sports clothes. The shoes and socks are excellent as well, and you can find everything in one place, including a section with clothing and footwear on sale. “Lululemon offers stylish and high-quality clothing for both women and men. You’ll find leggings, sports bras, tops, accessories, bags, jackets, and more. The store is well laid out and overall very nice to visit. The only downside is that there isn’t much in-store discount variety compared to what you can find on their website or the outlet. Still, it’s a great shop to stop by if you’re looking for quality activewear.”
“The thing holding this MEC back from being the best outdoor store in Winnipeg is location.
Sadly, the majority of locals prefer travelling by car, and this makes getting to MEC especially difficult because of parking. There is literally one designated parking spot for customers. Technically there are two if you include the accessibility stall, but that one is usually taken by the security guard (who does not have an accessible parking permit visible). So given the extremely limited availability for close access via car, this is a big deterrent for potential customers.
I typically order online through MEC and pick up in store because it is pretty quick, and I don’t have to meet the $50 minimum for free shipping. Sometimes the item I want will not be at this store so it will get shipped there, but I still don’t pay for postage. Picking up is easy and the staff allow me to bring my bike inside. They do have a bike rack directly inside the doors, but I would never leave a bike downtown unattended, locked or unlocked.
The staff is always polite and helpful, anyone who says otherwise is just looking for something to complain about.
My only complaint is the location, as no matter what you use to travel, it will always be a challenge to get there. This isn’t necessarily a fault of MEC, more so city planning, however I would love to see them in a more accessible area.
Overall, this is a great Canadian owned store, with excellent customer satisfaction policies.”
