Thirsty's Flea Market is a place with fantastic vendors and many different items, offering a walk down memory lane for those who collect nostalgic anything. It is located near Polo Park between Wall and Erin on Ellice Avenue. Many find it to be a thriving community where it is not all about finding treasures and deals, but also about building relationships with the wonderful people and amazing individuals there. The market has many knowledgeable and passionate vendors who are honest, open, and friendly, often sharing their hobbies and helping others. While some note it used to be the main flea market and now feel half the tables are closed, others regularly find cool items and have a great time looking around. Weekends, especially Saturday, are recommended as more vendors are open then. Visitors often stop in monthly, finding reasonably priced items and something new to bring home, making it a great way to spend an afternoon. Overall, for many, Thirsty's Flea Market is the place to be and very much worth a gander.
