The Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway Park is a great historical farm and hiking area. It is very educational, focusing on community, history, plants, soil, and animals. The area offers great water views, fairy trails, and is very natural with well-cared-for animals. It is fun, dog and kid friendly, with dog-friendly trails. The paths are open and part is wheelchair/stroller friendly. There is a picnic area with good tables and plenty of seating. Restrooms are clean. It is a great place to learn and enjoy the outdoors.

A great place to learn about Native American culture and American history. Great views of the Potomac River from the fishing pier and historic farm/living buildings. Visitor center was very nice and there were many short hikes through the historic buildings and the river.
