They are a rare find for mechanics- extremely honest (will tell you what work you DON'T need done), use quality parts (many shops use crap parts) and do great work. Also recently, Dustin saved me well over a $1000! I called to make an appointment to get my headlights repaired on my 2020 Kia Telluride because the high beams weren't working. He researched it on his own after my call and told me to bring it to the dealer because it had an unpublicized extended warranty that Kia issued a couple of years ago. Got it fixed at the dealer for free. Most repair shops would have missed this or knowingly charged for the work.”

“The days of the backyard auto mechanic are truly over. I used to replace thermostats with a socket wrench and screwdriver in 15 minutes or less. Not any more. Today you have to almost take an engine apart in order to replace anything on it. I took our 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0 Turbo in to the dealer for a new thermostat. $1,800 they told me. I told them to forget it. A second dealer quoted almost as much. I told them forget it too. Enter Precise Auto and Body. I got their name in an Internet search. Their reviews looked good so we tried them. Dan told me there was over 5 hours involved because the turbo unit had to be removed in order to access the thermostat housing. That explains a lot. Dan quoted an original equipment DELCO GM thermostat and housing, replaced for about 60% of what the dealers wanted. Knowing that the turbo needed to be removed and replaced made his quote acceptable. I was expecting the work to take more than the rest of that day, but they called that afternoon and told me the car was ready. No surprises in pricing, no long wait times, and very friendly people made this (almost) a pleasant experience. The $800 we saved by not going with a dealer was icing on the cake. Based on this experience, I can recommend them highly. This wasn’t an easy repair but it appears to have been done right, quickly, and at a reasonable cost given its complexity. Dan and Kharina are both on top of their game.”

“I recently had my car repaired here, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a thorough estimate for the repairs.
The quality of work was outstanding. They repaired some extensive damage on the rear quarter panel and matched the paint perfectly—my car looks as good as new! They even detailed the interior, which was a lovely surprise when I picked it up.
Communication was another highlight. They kept me updated throughout the process, letting me know when to expect my car to be ready. The turnaround time was quicker than I anticipated, which was a huge plus.

“I went to HALLSTAR Tint for a full vehicle tint removal to pass my Maryland state safety inspection. I went in at 4pm on a Thursday and it seemed like they were only working on one vehicle at a time, but the wait was very short even though I didn't call ahead or anything. The tint removal cost $120 and took about an hour. The whole process was very straightforward and the lady at the front desk was very nice. A couple of regulars came in while I was waiting and I got the impression that they have a loyal clientele. Overall I had a great experience and I would recommend their tint removal service!”

“We all know how stressful it can be when your car is broken and needs to be fixed. I have a 2007 Buick and was involved in a hit-and-run The car still runs beautifully, but I didn’t like the blemish that was left CARSTAR Nescar took away my anxiety from my first interaction with Jesus. We coordinated schedules and I worked with Steve the day I brought my vehicle in. They kept me informed along the repair journey. I picked her up today and Jesus and Steve both greeted me and were extremely efficient, friendly, and absolutely no hassle. Not that I have been to many body shops, but I was so impressed with how immaculate and organized the physical space is.
I hope I don’t need to have repairs again, but if I have to, I will definitely contact CARSTAR Nescar in Beltsville. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Now you can bobtail to get parts now if you hook to a trailer it's a little tight.. You have to pull around the side of the building and very easy to get to right off Hy 32.. Or if you park on the off ramp right by FleetPride you can walk over there to them..”
