Serviced on 12/2 for thermostat replacement. After requesting loaner on previous appointments, and not receiving one, I expected to have on this time since I was having and oil change and thermostat replaced. I arrived for my appointment a little before 10:30 and was told by Kenny there were no loaners available. This was very upsetting since I live in College Park and had to travel almost an hour to get there. Also I had a sick dog at home. Since I paid for the loaner when I had service, I expected a loaner especially since the prior visits none were available? I called asking for the Service Manager my call was not returned. I did receive a call from AMY letting me know I would be receiving a Survey about the service received. I answered her call giving her a time to call me, That call never came.
The 3% charge your facility charge for using credit cards is obnoxious considering the costs of service. How much is enough?

Disappointed with Service Experience
I brought my 2015 Cadillac Escalade to Fitzgerald Cadillac of Annapolis (34 Hudson Street) for a simple oil change. The standard price without a coupon is $119.95, and I had a coupon for $69.95. However, my service advisor David Alexander told me that because my vehicle takes 8 quarts of oil, the total would be $109.00 even after applying the coupon.
My husband called to verify the price, and Mr. Alexander confirmed that it was $109.00 due to the additional two quarts. When I arrived at 7:15 a.m., I didn’t leave until 9:41 a.m. ~ over two hours later ~ for an oil change. I have been to several Cadillac dealerships, and I have never waited that long for such a basic service.
When I asked about the delay, Mr. Alexander simply said they were short-staffed. At no point did he come to update me or apologize for the wait. To make matters worse, when we checked out, we were charged $99.77, which didn’t align with the previous quotes. The numbers just don’t add up, and overall, the customer service was disappointing.
I expected a higher level of professionalism and communication from a Cadillac dealership. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

In the past, I’ve taken my Cadillac to this dealership multiple times for routine service and had a great experience with the service advisor Leonard. I recently brought my car there for service and had a horrible experience with their advisor Kenny Burger. A few hours after I dropped my car off at the dealer I received a call from Kenny that my car had an oil leak and they would have to keep the car. After that day I did not receive a single phone call from Kenny with an update, this went on for almost a week. I called the dealership, asked to speak with him and was met with endless excuses once I could finally get a hold of him. After my car had been sitting at the dealership for almost a week and not one phone call, I was told by Kenny that the tech still hadn’t determined where the oil leak was coming from and the dealership had a “back log” of cars they have to service, which is why it may take awhile. I asked for an estimate of how long it would take for my car to be finished and he had no timeline for me. I also asked if my car could be sitting on the lot for the next month waiting to be serviced and he found that question very amusing. I have never experienced this level of disrespect from any service department and lack of communication. The following day I called back and asked to speak with a manager. I was told no manager was available at this time. I gave them my information and asked if they could have a manager give me a call. Never received a phone call. After a week of my time being wasted, I decided to go pick up my car, unfixed, and take it to another dealership for the oil leak. When I arrived to pick up my car I had a manager I’m assuming tell me that he “respected” my decision to take the car as if I was being irrational for taking it after a week of no communication and no progress. If you bring your car here for service, request Leonard as your advisor! Do not allow Kenny Burger to oversee anything related to your car.

The service was “outstanding “ and very timely.
For the first time At Fitzgerald , I was able to observe on my phone the service while it was being done ( revolutionary). This experience was very gratifying to observe. Well Done! Keep it up.

We are supposed to drop off a vehicle for Service under warranty called service department He says I have to buy a service plan in order to get a loaner vehicle, which is very unprofessional You do not need a Service plan if Your vehicle is under warranty, very unprofessional

I have purchased 12 new vehicles in my lifetime. I had the best car buying experience with Fitzgerald Cadillac in Annapolis this week. Our salesman, John Green, was excellent to work with. In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable about the tech laden Optiq EV. A shout out too to the Finance Manager who got us in and out with our paperwork so that we could make an appointment in Baltimore. Great job Fitzgerald Cadillac!!!

my experience with this service department has been impressive thus far.the people were professional and seemed knowledgeable. Of note was Mr Kenny. He deserves kudos for how he went the extra mile to accommodate me. he took the time to explain my vehicle’s problems and provided me with viable solutions. As a customer, what we expect is honesty and transparency from All of your staff. Your service department has exceeded my expectations. I think that I will return to this dealership for my next vehicle purchase.
