Bad customer service by the gentleman on the counter. Although there was hr and a half left before they had to close but he seemed to be in a rush.Did not get answers to any questions we asked. Didn't even bother to ask our names.

I am writing this review on my wife’s account since I am already logged into hers. I was just at 84 lumber and there’s this guy, Luis/Lewis (not sure how to spell his name) who is a young, Hispanic guy that wears glasses (only being specific in case there is more than one Luis/Lewis’ employed there)He was very helpful to me today…Usually I come up here and sit forever, waiting, after I pay to get material but this time, this Luis/Lewis, came right out. I needed to cut the boards in half so he helped me get the boards and cut them and load them on my truck… He was so friendly and nice which is a refresher compared to today’s generation and their work ethic.I will tell you… hang on to this employee! Praise him and treat him well because you guys got a good one which is so hard to find.Just wanted to say thank you to this gentleman again!Thank you for making my day and keep up the good work!

Excellent customer service ordering a new front door here. We found the knowledge and personal assistance we were looking for, and that we doubted we would find at a larger home improvement chain. Bryan was pleasant, helpful, and patient, and walked me through the entire order with a customer service attitude that was refreshing and that will keep us coming back to this location.

They ordered the wrong color cabinets. 8 to 10 week delay. They didn't even realize their mistake until we asked for samples so we could pick paint.

Called and named 3 different roofing materials and was told they had all 3 in stock. When i got here nobody seemed to even know what i was referring to, asked for pictures on my phone. Turns out they had not one of the items i had named on the phone. Polite and helpful guys at the store but clearly not very knowledgeable about their own inventory. Waste of time, wont be coming back.

I’m a contractor and my outside sales rep and his coordinator are top notch but outside of them it’s a disaster. The counter staff are poorly trained. It’s like a gambling on the roulette wheel. You may get lucky now and then that someone behind that counter can even help you at all.

Very bad experience with this company.They always delay our kitchen orders and they bring very bad and slow attention to us.Long time waiting for material and many scratches on some cabinets.

The guy up front laughed and smirked at me and my questions the entire time. Then pawned me off to a new hire. I'm not sure if his issue was that I'm new to woodwork or I'm a woman in a predominantly male store. But he made me feel horribly uncomfortable and angry.

Dont go to this 84 Lumber if you are a woman. They dont wait on you. They talk down to you and act like it is a chore to wait on you. This has happened to me 3 times now. Their customer service is horrible. And to think their CEO is a woman.

Could not order over the phone. Upon ordering my double closet doors through them in person, I asked them to deliver it to my house and they missed the day I stayed home from work for the delivery. When they did deliver it, one guy made the delivery and dropped my doors from the truck it came on 4-5ft straight down with no help. Scratched both doors

Great store. They go way above and beyond keeps the local from going to Home Depot and Lowes. Tim and Mark care and will help with any household project it is nice to see people that care so much!
