“I have been truly impressed with the pharmacist at Tru Health. He is kind and makes it his priority to always have the prescriptions available, even if there is a shortage elsewhere. He is incredibly knowledgeable. He refills prescriptions quickly and efficiently - I've not had a problem with any of my prescriptions. He is also wonderful with children. My 3 year old loves visiting him. Highly recommend this pharmacy.”

“Demmy's is a very good pharmacy with very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. The only issue ai hae is with their email process and how the app is designed and works. I find it not easy to use and understand. I find that many things I want appear to only be to be done by asking the pharmacy individuals to do it. If a user can do the things, that ia not obvious. I would prefer using a much more user friendly app which is easily understandable -- that is not what I have found in using the app for a little more than two months evn though I have extensive knowledge of computers.”

“Still my favorite supermarket. Some prices are high, but I find good bargains, excellent sushi, great Monday pizza deal (I buy a pie and freeze the slices), fresh produce and exceptional sushi that you can grab and go. Also check out the $5 shrimp deal.

Jinous (Janice), the owner, runs the best old-fashion family pharmacy anywhere in Northern VA! They feel like part of your family. And they know everyone in your family too-:)We have been going for quite a few years, and they have never made a single mistake. Both the CVS and Giant we went to previously made repeated errors - one which caused me a major medical emergency. You are merely a number at other chain pharmacies.Mclean pharmacy is truly a small business family pharmacy where they know your name - and they know you - and your medical history relevant to RXs.They take great precautions to check your records regularly. They insure that none of yours meds are contraindicated.The store also sells lots of fun items - including healthy - but tasty - snacks. Great organic lotions…And if you need to know what to take for a particular problem, Jinous will happily walk around the counter and show you the various options she has, explaining which one she would recommend. Like I mentioned, this is old fashion service at its best! You willNever go back to your previous pharmacy.”
“I ordered a sheet cake for a party. I was expecting something generic. Gina from the bakery called me a week ahead to consult on the decorations. She asked about the reason for the party, plus any themes or special colors we were using. The result was amazing. Not just beautiful, but also delicious.”

“I am ALWAYS astounded by the superb customer service provided by Evan at the pharmacy in Harris Teeter Copley Place. He is always pleasant and always efficient. Not only does he go above and beyond when I (foolishly) run in for a last minute Rx, but when I frantically called regarding an emergency Rx for my mother he told me to hit the highway and get there before closing. I got there close to 8pm and he processed my mother’s Rx with 10min to spare. I can’t say enough about him.

“Kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff from the cashier to the pharmacy tech to the pharmacist. Plus the store is always clean and tidy. They have a good selection of OTC meds and personal hygiene products but will order anything they don’t have if their wholesaler carries it. You don’t get this kind of service at a chain drugstore.”

“I love the Giant in Potomac, MD. They usually have almost anything you can think of and the staff at this Giant is fantastic. The only thing I wish they offered that they don’t is Puttanesca sauce for spaghetti.”
“I visited Harris Teeter today for the very first time, and I was honestly impressed. The store is huge and beautifully organized, with an incredible variety of products to choose from. Everything looked fresh, from the produce to the seafood and meats. They even had oysters, vegan alternatives, and a wide selection of chips and baking goods. My personal favorite section was the tinfish selection, which isn’t something you see everywhere.
The store also has a Starbucks, a pharmacy, and even a second floor, which made the experience feel more like a destination than just a grocery store. There were samples being handed out, which was a nice touch, and the weekly specials offered some great deals.
The atmosphere was clean, colorful, and very well-kept. Every associate I interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which made shopping there feel even better. Another highlight is the parking situation. They have an underground parking lot with a two-hour limit, which is really convenient and safe.
Overall, Harris Teeter exceeded my expectations. Between the fresh selection, friendly staff, wide variety, and thoughtful layout, it’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to.”
“Huge and well stocked. You could practically get everything you needed from the store. It bubbled and had good staffing with fresh foods (fruits and vegetables included).
Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility.
I am certainly one of those who miss this ShopRite store.”

“Pro: big parking lot, clean environment, self serve lottery machine, lot of self check out machine, Con: always long line at customer service This store had a refresh on the inside a few years ago and still look new upon entering. Parking lot is big with plenty of space. The giant is next to smaller store such as subway and more. There is a lottery machine that is self use. The customer service area is always has long line due to only 1 person working back there. If this giant doesn't work out for you there is another giant by cherry hill shopping area that just open up recently.”
“The young woman with the dog selling crystals was amazing. I had been receiving so much negative energy at work for weeks. I put the quartz she sold me in front of my laptop and all the negativity stopped! Anytime I have a Zoom meeting I just put that quartz between me and the screen and you can feel the vibrations change. Amazing. Her dog had a celestial aura and I'm growing my Chakra too. So grateful.”

When I called to confirm my address the lady who answered the phone was very professional and even applied a coupon code which made my prescription that will have cost $77 completely free! I am very thankful she was able to even think to a coupon without me even having asking.”

“Refund Experience
When I first entered the store, I was promptly greeted by a staff member who asked about my issue. While she was attentive, she subtly hinted that I may have come in seeking a refund without proper proof—despite me having my receipt. I understand and appreciate that employees need to stay vigilant about fraud and theft, but it's important that this vigilance is exercised with tact so that innocent customers don’t feel accused or uncomfortable.
She then directed me to the manager on duty, who was very helpful. Due to technical issues processing the refund to my credit card, he quickly suggested a gift card as an alternative, which was a smooth and considerate solution. Overall, I appreciated the quick problem-solving and customer care. While the initial interaction could have been handled more delicately, the team’s attentiveness and willingness to resolve the issue made the experience positive in the end.”
