About Baltimore County Animal Services
Baltimore County Animal Services is an open intake shelter that makes visits enjoyable and professional. The staff are very nice, sincere, and wonderful, seeming happy to work there. They are amazing, super organized, and helpful, providing supplies and tips. They are easy to work with and take good care of their charges, going the extra mile to ensure animals are adopted. They do an awesome job with their resources and have community outreach programs to get pets adopted. Many people have had truly wonderful and great experiences adopting or fostering, finding the animals to be everything they wanted. The shelter works to ensure animals are adopted rather than euthanized.

we just adopted diesel, a 6 year old german shepherd. he had been in the shelter about a month and is already fitting in wonderfully. staff gave us lots of training resources and we took him home to find out he already knows paw, sit, and drop it! we highly recommend this shelter :)

Brought a stray dog in that had been running loose for over 5 weeks in Arbutus. Poor dog was very stressed during the capture and transport to BCAS. Staff was professional and caring during intake and said they could see she was very sweet and felt she would be adopted easily.
