I went to purchase an air pump for my tires . They acted as if they couldn't help me . The manager came over said a few words and basically didn't help at all . I go up to the register and the air pump rings up for a totally different prices .So I was like why is it ringing up for something like a 40$ difference . I was like can I get a discount he said what discount and kept on going what he was doing . I said I was gonna leave review he didn't even care that I said that. Needless to say I paid the price but he wouldn't even give me a discount the price was 55$ and rang up for 99 came out to 127 with warranty . DONT GO THERE !!!! Take the extra minutes and go to Auto Zone on Washington Blvd . It used to be a nice place but it's DIRTY and the management has changed which makes the customer service that. Much more poor .

I was sold the wrong part by the stores manager. Spoke with Will and was told it was because I had AWD. I then contacted dealership with Vin number that told me that the information given to Associate was correct ( In fact my vehicle is FWD as I specified.) Contacted Will and was told that was only available part. Tried to encourage Will to run Vin number for future reference, only to have him refuse to take any responsibility in giving me the wrong part. Therefore I will advised anyone to check all parts before leaving the store or it will cost you more money and timeLooking to find a new autoparts store.

Hands down this is the best Advance auto. I arrived to this location this past Sunday June 11th in hopes to get help with my battery installation, within seconds everyone was so eager to assist. This is what I call customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work ?

I went to this store on a Tuesday evening in December to get a new battery for my car. I'd been told Advance Auto Parts will install them for you and that's just what I needed after my car had died on me about an hour before. I was able to make it there because I got a jump. I entered the facility and was immediately hit by the smell of weed. Then, next my ears were assaulted by some seriously graphic rap music. Ok, so I am a middle aged woman but I'm not opposed to weed and rap, however not in a business. How unprofessional! Anyway, there were no customers there so I was able to head right to speak with a cashier. I told him what I needed and he said they could sell me a battery but they don't install them in the dark. That's fair. Luckily my car was able to start again, and I have no plans to return to this establishment if I can help it.

Believe the reviews the customer service at this location is terrible. I stopped going here years ago and circumstances had me walking through their door again the other day. I was quickly reminded of the rude people behind the counter. I avoid the Patapsco location like its a plague.

I’m seeing so many complains about crew and I think advance auto parts is simply ignoring that. Today i tried buy 2 oil+filter bundle (to compensate the overpriced oil) and the cashier did not apply my discount and told me it was done. After i try explain she just sent me to the manager to return the products. I explained again I don’t want return it i wanna get the deal and after all the manager could not find none of “bundle compatible” oil filter and i got my order returned anyways. That’s my last time in this store.

Store has typical stuff but I have been to this location several times looking for parts that claimed to be in stock online only to get to the store and be told they dont have it. My guess is there was bad inventory done or people just dont look that well. Good luck finding staff to help you, and when they do get time to help you they rush to skip through people instead of helping 100%
