“We had an awesome time doing the Valentine’s Day event we found on instagram. The instructors were very helpful and nice to work with. We were visiting from Lewistown, Pa and so we couldn’t come back the next day for our glass pieces but they are shipping them to us for like $20. Totally worth it!”
“We did a couples class in September, and it was worth every penny. The instructor helped us every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us absolutely newbies. We didn’t realize how long the full process takes- the instructor will glaze and create feet on your work, and she made a handle for my mug- and it took a couple months for that to be done. So, plan ahead if you want your work for gifts!”
“We had a great time with the glass blowing workshop! Our instructor Anna was very patient, thorough, and made sure we walked away with some pieces that would memorialize our time spent learning! It was a fun anniversary activity and we picked up an ornament to remember it for years to come. Thank you for the time, experience, and memories!”
“I love this cute little shop! The owner is really sweet and she makes a lot of the art in the store, and also curates a lovely selection of things from all over.”
“The Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower has been a Baltimore landmark since its construction in 1911 as the tallest building in the city. The tower was built by Capt. Isaac Emerson, the inventor of the headache remedy Bromo-Seltzer, and designed by Joseph Evans Sperry (also designer of the Brewers Exchange). It once adjoined Emerson's Bromo-Seltzer factory, but the factory is no longer standing.
The most interesting feature is the still-functioning tower clock, the face of which displays the word BROMO-SELTZER instead of numbers. Modeled on the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, the tower was topped by a 51-foot revolving replica of the blue Bromo-Seltzer bottle. The bottle was illuminated with 596 lights and could be seen 20 miles away. Unfortunately, the bottle was removed in 1936 due to structural concerns. To the chagrin of many locals (including several Baltimore Sun editorial writers), it has not yet been replaced.”
“Always a satisfying experience. Lots of excellent advice and guidance. More importantly, always excellent results. Go-to framer and mini art gallery with great examples of local talent.”
“Amazing artwork and options to frame your own masterpiece. Top quality and service. Other galleries in Haverford, Bethesda and Harrods London. The Village of Cross Keys.”
“We commissioned Kristin to do a custom painting of a Maryland shore wetland scene after seeing the quality of her other artwork, and it was perfect. Really great people and easy to work with. And their shop is very nice and inviting!”
“If the outside is this amazing and awesome, the inside must be even more amazing!!!! We strolled Mt. Washington and walked by Baltimore Clayworks. We are a family that loves to do pottery. We will be back to take a class!!!”
“This place is interesting. It has strong drinks that are at least $3 less than usual
Prices, and has a nice atmosphere. I wish it was more musically or dance oriented, but eh, it’s more experimental.”
“I love this place!! It’s become my go-to shop to buy special gifts. Luann’s curated a diverse offering from local artisans in addition to her own incredible work. I always leave with the perfect gifts for my loved ones and a big smile on my face. Luann is so personable and down to earth – she’s definitely the magic that makes this spot so special!”

“The shop is filled with beautiful & well crafted mosaic art and jewelry by proprietor Gail Rosen and artworks by others. Gail also sells a large selection of interesting and often visually stunning crystals, rocks, towers, fossils, and stone carvings.
I've bought many things from Andamento over the past year, including small mosaics, accent lamps, goddess figures, and gorgeous polished stones. And I just picked up from Gail a commission she made for me for a traditional yin/yang symbol made of black and white glass tesserae. I love it!”
“I purchased a piece that was framed by New Standard Frames over a decade ago. The care and craftsmanship that has held up over time with this frame is evident as I move around the artwork in my home quite often and it’s still in great shape.”
“Simple, Modern, And Fresh. I love this gallery. The artists that showcase here are always amazing & the artwork is always so moving.
