Previous bad experience with my fiance's car, but it's the only Kia dealership close enough to us. I dropped my car off last night for my 7:45 AM appointment. They've had my car 8 hours and no one can call me back or give me an update, if a person answers the service line at all they transfer you to a nameless voicemail box. I HAD A *SIMPLE* RECALL!!!! IT SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN MORE THAN AN HOUR BUT NOW A FULL DAY AND NO TRANSPORTATION LATER I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'VE EVEN TOUCHED IT!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst car as they are know for being targeted for theft had our few days before this happen to us.Yet our worst experience is the dealership itself dont buy Kia and especially not from Bob bell Kia Dundalk (7900 Eastern Ave Baltimore, MD ). They Only have one lazy service advisor he is the worst a Caucasian boy named Ralph. He never answers the phone or calls back and if you do get lucky to talk to anyone maybe once a week it's him and he is of no help. I brought Brand new 2024 Kia Forte and passenger backside window had defect and water was leaking in my child got soak driving the car home that night.We bring it in next business day and Sale manager tells us they will take care of it to take it down to service as they get us a rental. We go to service Ralph tells us they would have to bring third party and wasn't sure if it will be covered. When told him unacceptable he said nothing he could do and walked away I said your telling me nothing you can do he said nope we close in hour and didn't want to. He and service manager Joseph Hamilton never answer the phone you leave message emails and weeks with no answers. Dropped off the vehicle in August still no date as to when my car will be able to be picked up.As for rental never happen they had me come in second time instructed by sales manager to come in after noon when he was working to pickup rental and drop car off for service.I arrive afternoon sales manager was off that day so everyone stare at me dumbfounded and nothing was done one put a message in system for them to call me first thing in morning never happen.Come a third time and they have no rental available never happen and car still not fix. I can go on with disappointment with this dealership please save yourself headache don't buy cars from Bob bell dealerships.

Used this dealership since i bought my KIA in 2022. Last visit my windshield was cracked after service. Returned the vehicle as soon as i saw, told I would get a call back, received no call. Returned the vehicle a second time spoke with the service manager who had not even heard of the incident despite me reporting it. I was told I would receive a call back, still no call. After multiple attempts to contact them, I received a grainy photo from the shop ‘proving’ that they were somehow not responsible. Was told to contact the GM for assistance, after multiple attempts and messages still no response.

This is the worst car and customer service I have ever received. No one has the ability to help with anything and you will not receive a call back or assistance from management. I had my engine replaced on warranty and when my A/C no longer worked when I picked up the car I was told it was $325 to assess. Turns out my compressor was not plugged in even though I was told my car was ready and on further inspection it was also not fully bolted in. DO NOT COME HERE

Made 4 attempts to schedule service for my car and no one returned my phone call. This has happened to me more than once at this dealership. I no longer get my car serviced there. I could also tell you the time they damaged the paint on my hood when getting an oil change done there but they did touch up the paint after I confronted them. Do yourself a favor. Get your vehicle serviced elsewhere.

There is a recall on my Kia Niro. I schedule to have it taken care of at this location. The day of my appointment (May 24th) I was there for 2 hours under the impression that the issue was being fixed. After waiting someone came out and told me that they did not have the part and it would need to be ordered. I was told that it take a week to get and someone would call me to schedule. It has been a month and I still have not received a phone call. I have called the service department MULTIPLE times and cannot get through to anyone. I have left numerous messages, no one ever calls me back. Today I called and can't even leave a message because voicemails are full. Worse experience I have ever had with a automotive service center.

Horrible dealership!!!! Absolutely horrible!!!! Shady people between their management team and their entire sales staff. They tell you everything that you’d like to hear over the phone, get you into the dealership, then change the price of the vehicle and add on all of these additional fees. SHADY SHADY SHADY management team who cares nothing but getting an extra dollar out of your pocket. Go to another Kia dealership to do business. Do not let the Essex Kia location to scam you into a vehicle.

Just left Bob Bell Kia from an appointment I had with that for 1pm. I confirmed that appointment and arrived 10m prior. The vehicle was out on a test drive from another buyer, that I found out was a little unsure and shaky of arrival. Why have 2 appointments around the same time for the same vehicle? 1 hour and 20m+ drive, gas, and time has been wasted and considering even more on the same trip back home. If proper communication was used, they could have saved me time and I wouldn't have turned around. That's business but bad business.

Worst service department I've ever experienced. A few years ago, my starter failed. They told me it wasn't the starter. The engine was seized. They then said the engine replacement wouldn't be covered under warranty unless I could supply proof of oil changes.
After several weeks of having to track down physical oil change receipts and paying for their rental car service, I had all the receipts necessary. I then received a phone call the day after I provided all the receipts, stating my vehicle was ready to be picked up. The starter had been replaced, and the engine was fine.
I had insisted it was the starter the entire time, but was told their techs knew the difference between a bad starter and a seized engine. Clearly misdiagnosed from the beginning, yet they still tried to charge me for the rental. I was liable for the excess amount of time for the rental.
After several unpleasant phone calls, I was ultimately not charged.
Today, I was told the earliest they could get my vehicle in for a diagnosis is over a month from now. I've purchased two vehicles from this dealership. This is the second time I've had to rely on their service department for warranty work, and they can't get my vehicle in for a diagnosis in a reasonable time. The last time, they misdiagnosed the issue and then tried to make me liable for it. At first, for the engine and then again for the rental.
I will never buy another Kia, or any other vehicle from this dealership. It's a joke. Stay away. I trust nothing they say or do.

This Dealer is the worst, don't take your cars, I took my Kia for an oil change and it came out and what they did was damage it so they could collect and I've had this problem for 6 months, after 4 months they delivered it to me the same and after 2 days I have to go back to leave it and I've been waiting for 3 more months for them to fix it and so far they haven't solved anything for me.

Today, I went to get a oil change and this pregnant girl waited on me. She was acting unsual and she made me feel uncomfortable. She would call me on the phone to let me know that my car was ready instead of coming to the waiting room. She came to the waiting room for everyone else so why didn't she come to the waiting for me? I was nice and polite and I did not do anything wrong. I was offended and it made me feel unconfortable.

Don't even bother trying to get your car serviced here. I made an appointment online, showed up and was told there was no one there that could do the repair. So I made another appointment when someone would be there, but they didn't have the part so they couldn't fix it. Now I've been told the part is in, but I cannot get anyone on the phone to make an appointment and I don't trust the online scheduling. They literally never answer the phone in the service department. I guess they don't want my money...

I’ve been to 4 different Kia dealerships and this hands down is the worst. The customer service was atrocious…I was laughed at by the woman who checked me out after asking for a cost breakdown. The other woman working was so rude and had a horrible attitude. I understand it being the end of the day, wanting to go home, etc. but as someone who’s spent years in customer service, it’s unacceptable to treat paying customers poorly because you’re over the shift. I will not be returning here which is unfortunate because it’s closer to where I moved however I would rather drive further than go here. Not to mention I waited TWO HOURS for an oil change.

Do Not Purchase a Kia Product. I own a 2015 kia Soul and the engine completely died after 78,000 miles with routine maintenance. Took it to this shoddy location and excuse after excuse the original engine could not be repaired and a new engine had to be installed (That nightmare took 5 months!). 14 MONTHS LATER the "new" engine with less than 6,000 miles is now doing the SAME THING. Kia only guarantees a one year warranty on a "new" engine and has the nerve to want to charge $185.00 to look at it and they probably wont cover this repair. The service manager could only tell me "you know they recalled over a million cars for engine issues." Do better Kia
