City of Refuge Baltimore - Main Campus is a wonderful and amazing place that provides great resources for the community. It is a very busy food bank that helps people beyond belief, ensuring no one has to go hungry. The amount of food provided is absolutely amazing and fantastic, including lots of meats, vegetables, breads, and all different kinds of food. The program is organized, with volunteers and staff who are wonderful, great, very nice, polite, excellent, genuine, and very caring. They take anyone with no limits to where they live, serving over 150 people. A free lunch is also available Monday through the week when possible. The process involves getting a number, which can require arriving very early and waiting for hours in conditions that are very cold, dark, and not very safe, though people are cordial to one another. It is a great place all and all that has helped many families.
From the kind person who greeted me when I walked in the door to all the staff who was friendly and attentive, it was incredible to be able to take a tour and see all of the services that city of refuge offers neighbors.

I personally love this place!! You gotta get up early n go grab a ticket, but youll definitley leave satisfied!! Its well worth the wait!! Kat is AWESOME!! Great personality!!!!
