Normal's Book & Records is an awesome little, but packed, mostly used book, record, cassette, and CD store with very reasonable price points. It offers an excellent and huge selection with very fair trade-in values and loads of great new and used records. A favorite stop for many since the early 1990s, it is a cozy place with a great aesthetic and an eclectic inventory. The store is a mecca for curious folk, featuring shelving devoted to indie magazines and an ever-changing collection. It is best visited with a treasure-hunter mentality. The staff are genuine and extremely informative, treating customers like longtime friends. The area offers plenty of street parking, though the neighborhood can be sketchier after dark, so visitors should be mindful. Overall, it is an awesome local bookstore and a loving reminder that there’s so much to be uncovered in the world, highly recommended for its selection, prices, and unique character.

Excellent selection and prices, and every time I go in, there always seem to be loads of great new and used records, and Lungfish is almost always in stock (need I say more?) Very fair trade-in values too. Highly recommended.
