DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION OR REALLY PEP BOYS IN GENERAL ANYMORE THEY'RE NOT TRUSTWORTHY NOT WORTH THE COST/PREDATORY BEHAVIOR! NOT AT ALL GO SOMEWHERE THAT'S HONEST LIKE JIFFY LUBE WHEN YOUR TRYING TO SAVE SOME MONEY ON CAR MAINTENANCE SERVICES! So I'm delivering with Grubhub using CarAdvise Pep Boys advertises the conventional oil change at around $32 when you show up... They suddenly don't have the oil and you have to get a full synthetic for $70!?!? When I questioned the price jump, all they say is they "Don't have the conventional motor oil I need". No one asked me if it was okay to over DOUBLE the cost! HOW AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR BEING UNPREPARED FOR THE SERVICE I SCHEDULED?!? AND JUST GOING TO BLINDSIDE ME WITH THE COST AT THE END OF SERVICE?!?! I really think it's BAD BUSINESS to make the CUSTOMER (WITHOUT asking if it's okay) be RESPONSIBLE for covering the "EXTRA COSTS" BECAUSE Pep Boys is out of the oil needed for the CONVENTIONAL OIL CHANGE SERVICE I SCHEDULED. I just sat here and watched them look in the computer and switch it to synthetic FORCED UP CHARGING IS PREDATORY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! AND TRAPPING PEOPLE WITH TRICKERY IS ALSO UNACCEPTABLE! But again NO HELP/EXPLANATION OF WHY THEY THOUGHT OVER DOUBLING THE AGREED UPON PRICE WAS APPROPRIATE when I went up to the desk and asked them about the price doubling! JUST "Oh well, THIS is what we have" I know I won't be back. Transparency, TRUST, communication, and not bamboozling customers is important. If Pep Boys can't do that then I will not be spending any more money with them EVER AGAIN. I'm stuck here now and hopefully I don't get subpar service! Especially since I'm spending double what I was supposed to for the service. When they go out of business they can't blame anyone but themselves. Pep Boys, especially being a corporate chain get ready for the BBB reviews. I'm DEFINITELY 100% going to be saying something about THIS! NOTHING HAPPENING TODAY IS ACCEPTABLE. Plus I'm 30 minutes past when my service was supposed to be started and they're still playing games as if they've given me some sort of discount using my fleet card when they already forced an upgrade for synthetic and are making me cover the cost for what they don't have rather than just canceling the service that was prescheduled as a conventional oil change. Almost 4hrs For an oil change while I'm sitting in the building waiting and my appointment was scheduled, not walk in. Completely unacceptable. First they robbed me. Now they're holding me hostage LITERALLY!

I called Pep Boys to schedule for oil change. I was told there is 20% off coupon. I asked the guy at service center about the 20% off. He said, you can down load it on your phone when you pick our car up. When, I picked my car up. I showed the guy the coupon on my phone. He scanned it twice and said, I'm sorry you wanted Mobil 1 for your oil change. This 20% off is for Pennzoil oil only. He wouldn't give me the discount at all. After spending 164.00. He said, you wanted Mobile 1 and I don't tell people what oil to get. I always take my car to Pep Boys on Merritt Blvd MD. The girl that schedule the appointment should of told me stating I was getting 20 % off for oil change. The guy at the store had no knowledge at all about what sales they have on oil changes. When it comes to customers saving money that's what sales !!!!

Horrible service, lost me as a customer. Gave my keys to another customer had to wait to get them back. Don't ever use the Marlton store on rt 70! Refuse to give me lifetime balancing on my installed tires even though I paid $100 dollars for balancing! Always had it before.

Charged me twice the amount as the Pep Boys in Glen Burnie and didn’t give me the price till after the work was done. Definitely polite and worked quickly but that price wasn’t right.

State inspection is available at this location via system, however they will tell you NO when you go in. A waste of time. Very disappointed

Purchased tires which were good , purchased the road hazard but tire had a nail in it and the deemed it not repairable and they charged me $239.00 for another tire after I paid for road hazard. Was never told about after so long it may be pro rated etc. they do not take care of their customers and will get money from you in a different way if they have to replace something under a warranty. Do not buy tires or get any service done at PepBoys Dundalk, Md Evan the store manager is a unprofessional person and should not be in a manager capacity. Mrs Jo was great and very helpful and went out of her way to help me, but she only could do what Evan would allow. That’s why he handles it so he could scam money out of the customer.

Booked an online appt on their corporate website for 1pm today. But when I got there, I got told they were booked solid all the way through next week. Apparently the corporate website "doesn't have the full schedule". Unbelievable!

Jo Ann was amazing & deserves a pay raise! She juggled multiple ppl on hold & ppl in store all while talking to IT support for the computers that were giving her a hard time. She had me in and out in no time. Hope the higher ups understand how much of a gem she is!!

I have been using Pep Boys for 17 years since I got my car. They are the only shop I allow to touch my vehicle. They have always been honest, dependable, courteous and efficient. The customer service is top notch. Especially Jo!!!!

Ms. Jo was so sweet and accommodated me same day for a battery replacement. She knows what she’s talking about and has great customer service. This isn’t my closest location, but I rather take the drive down to Dundalk to get great service!
