We had a great time staying here. Everything was clean and the staff was delightful. Ms. Millie in the Club Lounge was the best! She was so happy and friendly. Super accommodating with kids. We’ll be back to see Ms. Millie.

Ok so as far as the building and rooms it is very nicely updated and welcoming. All the materials and finishes are very nice. The location was awesome for wanting to visit the inner harbor attractions because they are right across the street. Now for the bad part…. At the end of the day the hotel is in Baltimore and the local workforce must be slim pickings because most of them aren’t in a hurry to do much of anything. The ground floor cafe is a joke. Very limited selection, long wait and the help is about as slow as molasses without a care in the world, and don’t dare ask a question because you’ll get the eye roll and attitude because they may have to actually do something. Tried going to the restaurant for breakfast and even though half the tables were empty there was a 45 min wait because they “just can’t keep up”. We had two adjoining rooms reserved but as of 6:00 after exploring the inner harbor all day one room still wasn’t ready because housekeeping was still working on it. Well they must’ve been in a hurry to get it done because all the soap and shampoo containers were empty.. It’s a shame they can’t get better help because it could be a perfect hotel if they actually tried.

Views are beautiful. Room was great. BUT, the BEST part of all is Ms. Millie. She is a national treasure. We enjoyed having breakfast and Ms. Millie telling jokes and playing with the kids. She's making the world a better place. We love you, Ms. Millie and God bless.

I stayed at the Renaissance for a conference. The service initially was great. Jason was accommodating and provided great customer service. However, later that night, I was awaken to bed bugs. There were 2-3 bugs observed. I spoke with Jason and he offered another room. The room had a murphy bed and was not properly clean. There was trash and crumbs in the chair cushions. I opted out of staying at the hotel. Please note I was from out of town and although I wanted to leave immediately, it was difficult due to the circumstance. Jason was empathic and agreed to cover the room charges for my coworker and I during our stay. However upon check-out, my co-worker was charged for a one night stay. Jason was not present to address the concern and hotel staff were dismissive and denied Jason's agreement to cover the extra room. Thankfully, the conference was great and I was able to get a room at another hotel 10 mins away. Please be cautious if you choose to stay at the Renaissance.

It's been over a week and I STILL haven't seen both of my deposits back, which I left the room completely clean and the front desk aren't the best with recommendations. Had me all the way on the other side of Baltimore with no bar in site.

Stellar visit - The parking / cost / cleanliness of the room / pool (we used it) / proximity to inner harbor, restaurants, aquarium / Shout out to Melvin who guided us through the check in process and was incredibly friendly and helpful . He's the best! We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

The front desk is the worst and behaves like the guests are an annoyance. Told them about the room phone not working, they felt annoyed, and of course it was never fixed. No free WiFi unless you sign up to bonvoy, no breakfast. They locked up all the doors even though I had mentioned I will be checking in late. The only good think are the clean rooms and house keeping. Terrible. Wouldn’t even pass for a motel.

From concierge (I did not get the gentleman’s name) he was a pleasure to deal with. Kisha and Kiki were very informative and pleasant. They were able to multi task and not appear overwhelmed.Denise: from waterfront: took her position serious assuring that every patron that appeared was properly taken care of before moving on to the next( but making sure the next person was aware of their arrival) I truly appreciated her act of service! Now the server spandana was extraordinary. She did not stop moving, she hustled throughout the cafe and exhibited the most professional customer service to each and every person she came into contact with. I enjoy people watching and the flow at the waterfront amongst the staff was in sync. If someone looked a bit confused someone was right there to guide them. I will certainly visit again.Rooms: Spacious/Nearby activities: You have a museum, aquarium lots of eateries. Very nice location

For the location, cost, and size of this hotel I expected so much more. No valet parking, not nearly enough food options, and spartan room amenities. Concierge “service” is non-existent and staff demonstrated themselves to be uninterested and borderline lazy. Parking is a relatively complicated process, using an app connected to your license plate and paying for predetermined amounts of time that are clearly demarcated to generate maximum revenue rather than suit the prospective needs of hotel guests. Our room was on the opposite corner of the large building from the one set of elevators, causing me to question whether or not every room I walked past during my stay was actually occupied or staff simply disregards proximity to the elevators when assigning rooms. Walking to the opposite corner of the building every time I needed to use the elevators got tiresome and annoying very quickly.Overall, the room was very clean but that’s about it. I certainly won’t be back, and I question whether or not to consider Renaissance hotels generally in the future.

My family and I just stayed at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborpalce Hotel this past weekend. The hotel itself was very nice. The location was amazing!! Right near everything we came for which was perfect with kids. The room was very spacious. We unfortunately paid for a room with a view of the Bay but the only view was from the reflection through windows in another building across from us. I would have said something that night but we were all exhausted from the trip. Also once we finally get to our room after walking through 3 different hallways after exiting the elevator I was not going to make my kids pack up and head to a different room. The room was clean but there was something splattered and dried up all over the dresser in the room. No garbage bags in any of the pails, no body wash in the shower, and the rooms were so warm. I had asked room service for body wash and she said she was out so they handed me a couple bars of soap. I also needed to ask for toilet paper because there was only one roll, and tissues because there were 4 left in the box. The AC would not cool down the room (in February )and we needed to open the window which meant we could hear everything outside all night long. Having to keep the window open also meant we had to had to keep the curtains open to feel the cool air which let all the lights in as well. So we did not get the best night sleep.....Part of our stay also included the following:"Rate Information: Two for Breakfast rate, includes see Rate Rules Stay for Breakfast rate - Includes breakfast in hotel restaurant for up to 2 adults and children 12 years old and under registered in the same room."There was a pass on our dresser for each morning of our stay. The first morning the waiter gave us a lot of trouble using the passes and the second morning the gentleman working said we could use the pass to get one item under $10. So my husband used it to get a coffee and we just got on the road to head home instead of paying a fortune for our family to eat after just paying so much to stay there.Overall not the best hotel experience we have ever had which is unfortunate because we were trying to give our kids a fun few days away during their winter break from school.
