The architecture is amazing. Highly recommend staying here. The staff is not the friendliness but unless you're talking to them all the time it doesn't matter.

I have now stayed here twice. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for 1) budget-friendly 2) parking (valet runs approx $35/night with in/out privileges and the attendant is SO friendly) 3) walking distance of the harbor 4) kitchenette 5) good customer service. This last trip, the swing bar on my room’s door was unscrewed from the frame. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker up immediately. He drilled it into place within 5 minutes of my call.If you’re looking for a fancy, instagrammable hotel with views and high-end finishes, this isn’t it. It can also be pretty loud at night (both my rooms’ doors had a 1+” gap between the floor and door that made me a little uneasy). But it has a lot going for it, including the people and location. Would stay here a third time because the value is good.

We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful suite, in a truly beautiful hotel. The suites are spacious with high ceilings and ample walking space. A 5 minute walk to the harbor, took one star odd location as there are several strip clubs on the same block, not the hotels fault of course.

Was very pleased with this hotel. Rooms were spacious, well laid out and immaculately maintained with a fully furnished kitchen area. As an IHG member I got a fifth floor room with beautiful ceilings and walls which kept in line with the original architecture of the building. Will definitely stay again.

This was the hotel we chose for a staycation. A week of working remotely from a different location allowing us to venture out after we get off and enjoy the area.If stayed down here a few times and stayed at the Royal Sonesta and Pier 5. Both hotels are nice but this one allowed us to have a kitchenette. That way we can make our own meals when we aren’t up for leaving out. Our stay was from Sunday to Friday.we took Amtrak and the station was like 15-20 minutes from the hotel. We took an Uber which cost $21 each way.Our check in was quick and our room was on the 4th floor. Upon entering the room I was immediately impressed with the high ceilings and the large window. Everything was as shown in the booking. The kitchenette had all the immunities needed a cook too with two eyes. A dishwasher, microwave full size fridge with ice maker, pots glasses utensils, coffee maker coffee, etc. The bathroom had the usual towels but in addition they also had Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and lotion (and not them tiny bottles) the bathroom was clean and featured Ada appliances. The room had to queen bed and a sofa and work desk. We really appreciated the rooms layout . The only negative thing was they didnt have a table to sit and eat at. House keeping was helpful and made sure to check on if we needed anything. I believe they clean your room if you stay 7 days or more. Other than that they only empty garbages and replenish the towels. We decided to do some grocery shopping so we googled supermarket and walked to a near by market called Streets Market and Cafe. What a waste of time. This place was over priced and barely had a good selection of anything we wanted. We ended up walking out and calling an Uber to take us the Harris Teeters. Much larger selection and priced appropriately but it was worth it. The even sold wine. We spent approximately $20 getting there and $20 getting back. But enough about that. The room did what we wanted it to do which was work remote, relax and sightseeing, shopping and some good eats. Shopping was scarce i guess the pandemic really affected them as it did us in NYC. The Marshals was a very pleasant experience. Burlington coat factory was suppose to open up this month so we missed out on that. The hotel also offered a decent breakfast and some social meet and greet events. We only ate breakfast on our last day. It was good. Checkout was quick and the staff was super helpful. The hotel is literally two blocks straight from the main downtown financial area. Not far from all the tourist attractions

Spent a week at Staybridge for a staycation and I had a nice time.ProsI loved that the room had a microwave, stove top ,fridge and sink. I also liked that they had free breakfast everyday, and free dinner for social hour on Mond-Wed. This was buffet style and the servers were very friendly !! . The food was really good !They have a little convience section with frozen food, drinks ,snacks, meds etc and it wasn't a bad price at all for a hotel. So you really don't have to leave even if u wanted something quick !.For those not familiar with the area ,it's in A good location. Right on the harbor where you have tons of food choices and you are a 5 min drive and about 15-20 min walk from south side shopping center. They have a giants ,McDonald's, Chipotle, subway and other places in that plaza. You are right behind shake shake and chicken Fila and a Walgreens etc. Also you have the Science center ,Aquarium, American Visionary Art Museum, Baseball stadium, fort McHenry, The Walter's art museum ,Power Plant Live and other touristy things near by lol.The beds were very comfy and house keeping comes around everyday to grab trash ,give new towels and make your bed (if you arent in the room.)*Just like to note that this is if your staying a week or less they will come around* .I want to take a moment to Shout out especially to the girl at the front desk i think her name is candance ? She answers the phones and is always very nice and answeres every question!. Before I stayed I had a charge taken out and called to see if it was the hotel. She reassured me that it was them and I had my card locked , so she waited untill I unlocked it to recharge my card. She let me know they usually take out for the first night before you check in and then the rest when u get there. Such a great personality. She also went above and beyond to send me my receipt through email when it was acting weird,(when I really needed it ( explained more in con section ) and she didn't let up untill I had it in my email. The shower was really nice.Cons :The the way bathroom was set up. The bathroom sink was out side of the bathroom so just the toilet and shower were inside ,so you had to come out of the bathroom to use the sink etc. Also the sink wasn't closed in, it was just kind of in the middle of the room with a half open wall around it. Odd set up lol but it was fine .Also IF YOUR USING CASH APP CARD to reserve your room your deposit will take forever to come back on your card. You need to send cash app a picture of your reciept or a letter from the hotel stating that you had checked out. I learned this 3 weeks after i checked out and still no deposit .( As stated above the girl answering the phone was amazing each time I called! She informed me about contacting cash app once I said I didn't revieve it and once I did they told me I needed a reciept . I had a paper copy but couldn't access it at the time so, I called and she was able to email me my reciept and my funds got released )All in all it was a good stay . It's downtown baltimore sooo your gonna have some noise haha. However i live here so I'm used to the "noises of the city " . If you aren't used to it then that could be a con for you.Walkability: Very walkable tons of things near byFood & drinks: You have tons of bars and restaurants. Rusty Scupper , Miss Shirley's, Kona Grill , Powe Plant Live , Phillips, CheeseCake Facatory , chickfila, shake skack , Royal farms etc to name a few.

Beautiful rooms, service not good because many of the staff didn't speak English so I had to use Google translate alot. In its a big staff problem when u have homeless men's coming in, sleeping in a hall and randomly walking on the each floor up and down the hall checking other guests room doors. Do to the high traffic of the Harbor better safe measures need to be made.........

Overall, I am disappointed in the service I received. The customer service is HORRIBLE and I will explain! First, my check in went smooth no issues there! When I checked in and settled in I noticed children screaming and jumping non-stop. I left it alone since it was daytime. After, me and my fiancé returned from his birthday dinner, we returned and still the same thing: kids jumping and screaming. At this point I contacted the front desk only to be told there was nothing that could be done until the night manager arrived in one hour and he would call me. Waited one hour: No call!!!! My fiancé didn’t sleep at all and paced back and forth the entire night. I slept for a few hours with a pillow over my head.Next morning, CHECK OUT TIME! The gentleman asked “how was your stay?” I explained the above and he looked at me and fiancé and said would we like a printed receipt. I said no and he said ok have a great day! Have a great day after your team failed to call us back last night and then we explain the situation and you look at me like you didn’t understand what I said. No apology, NOTHING! For this reason I would never stay here again, EVER!
