The Lenore is an incredibly beautiful and well-maintained historic building, a former federal reserve with a gorgeous lobby featuring beautiful crown molding. The apartments themselves are magnificent with great layouts and beautiful large windows, though a recent tour noted these windows can be filthy and uncleaned. The location is very convenient, an easy walk to the harbor and close to shuttle buses to nearby universities. Residents describe a generally responsive management team and maintenance crew that is super nice, funny, and proactive, with maintenance done on time. Staff overall are friendly, helpful, respectful, and go above and beyond, showing great care for residents. Experiences with management changes have been smooth. The building offers amenities like a nice dog park and a small but super well-equipped gym. Some downsides exist. Parking is a noted downfall, with paid garage parking across the street costing around $200 per month. Residents should also beware of potentially high electricity bills, which can reach $300 per month in winter due to the tall ceilings making heating costly. Additionally, the large lobby front desk can sometimes be empty, creating a bit of a ghost town feeling. Despite these issues, many residents are big lovers of The Lenore, with some expressing sadness at having to leave and stating they would have stayed longer if possible. They feel it could be one of the premier apartment buildings in Baltimore.
The Lenore is an incredibly beautiful building; it is well-maintained, the dog park is nice, maintenance is done on time, and the maintenance crew is super nice and funny. The gym is small but super well-equipped. I'm a big The Lenore lover!

The building and my apartment were both lovely, and management was great (friendly, helpful, responsive). Highly recommended if you're looking to live in the area
