I have worked with SECU for the past 13 years, and I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff there. I recently had the pleasure of working with Val Pereira who was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in helping me set up my business bank account. What ever your banking needs are SECU is a good choice.The next time you are at the Bel Air branch, ask for Val!

7 people working but only the teller service on the computer could cash a check. And of course, the teller service wasn’t working.

I went to this branch of SECU to deal with a very stressful situation involving a family member. They were nothing short of amazing and went well out of their way to get things done as quickly as possible to relieve some stress on me. I could not be happier with them.

Do not put your money in there or conduct any kind of business with this place you will regret it. During the pandemic they were offering deferment on loans. They did not allow me to make a payment . fast forward a few months latter the loan reaches its maturity date ,they reported it to the credit bureau as late . call them they refuse to make the correctios now I am down over 40 points on my credit score for something I never wanted or asked for

Only one video teller kiosk in drive thru. Always long lines. Lobby closes extremely early. If you work a 9 to 5 you never can get into the main lobby cause they're closed. TD bank here l come.

I applied for a car loan through secu and was approved, got the check went to the dealer ship and bought a car...3 weeks later I get a call from secu saying my loan was declined AFTER IT WAS APPROVED. The staff is absolutely NO HELP in explaining to me why this happened. Now I'm having to return the car that I bought. This is imo illegal, how can you get approved for a car loan and 3 weeks later get denied? This has been the worst experience ever!!!!

Impossible to reach a loan officer by phone, he only answers when the customer he's financing calls. Then he issues the WRONG type of check and the credit union stops payment after we deposit it. As a small business this has consequences to us, once they discovered the problem it takes them almost 2 weeks to issue a correct check. We will try NOT to do business with them.
