“I don't frequent dollar tree but I learned of an item that I have been in search of and went to this location. It was hands down THE CLEANEST, MOST ORGANIZED, FRIENDLIEST, and overall welcoming locations that I have ever been to. I was amazed. Great job to the associates at this location!!!!”

“I prefer this location over all others. It's always pretty well stocked, cleaned and organized. The only drag is the Construction work right infront of the shopping center due to the Purple Line. I will be glad when it's easy access to make a LEFT turn on a light again to go into the shopping center instead of having to go allll the way down to the nearest light and wait for a U turn”
“I stopped by this store a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. I was actually planning to go to the Walmart across the road but decided to check this place out first and I’m so glad I did. The store was stocked with lots of new items, the prices were really low and the staff were super helpful in guiding me to what I needed. Definitely worth a visit and you’ll love the variety. This store helps me to survive bcuz I can barely afford food in the grocery stores, not to mention household items. Being a senior citizen, the grocery store prices are just too high for me.”
“This Dollar Tree is my go-to store since it’s the only one in the area, and I shop here quite often. The lines can sometimes be long, but that’s mainly because a lot of people shop at this store. Despite that, the lines usually move quickly and the staff does a great job keeping things flowing so customers can get in and out without too much delay.
What really stands out to me is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The manager, and cashiers are always customer-friendly, respectful, and willing to help if you’re looking for a specific item or trying to find your favorite products. They take the time to assist customers and make you feel welcomed when you walk into the store.
It’s always a pleasant experience when employees are both helpful and efficient. Because of that, I continue to shop here and truly appreciate the effort the team puts into serving their customers. ⭐”
“The store is 10x better than what it was a year ago. I see they have new management and workers so i guess these people care. More produtucts on the shelves which is a good thing. Hopefully the store will stay like this. Still havnt got that floor fixed yet though. Other than that keep it up.”

“Of the three DollarTree stores in our area, this is my favorite. The parking is challenging, but the shopping center is busy. The staff in this store are always friendly and helpful. The store is bigger than the one closest to my house and I think that helps with the congestion.”
“I've gone here for years, even now, as an adult... The old staff still recognize me from when I was still a four year old. The staff are super friendly, and besides the aisles being narrower than most other stores. It's a good place to run to if you want to get something fast, quick and relatively inexpensive.”

“The staff is nice which is always the best thing. Next the store was fully stock and in place. I couldn't give it a 5 because the store is small. Nothing they can do about that but I have to state that. Also the lightening is poor and the floors are dingy. I'm only comparing to other dollar stores and that why it's a 5. But the staff are nice and it has balloons, Xmas stuff and so on I needed. Parking was easily accessible too. You know what I'll give it a 4”

She is an Extraordinary employee! On this 28th day of Jan. 2026, Ms. Imes, went above and beyond the call of duty.
I am a 61 yr old senior citizen. I am not so up to speed with several things concerning the computer… Amira, took her time to help me. I wanted to use a coupon, to get a discount, I desperately needed it. She informed me that I had to use it through the family dollar app. I didn’t have it on my phone, nor did I know how to get it on my phone.
Amira called one of her colleagues to help her, I didn’t get her name, but she helped Amira to help me. She was extremely kind, and nice also. She also helped me get something down off the shelf that I was too short to reach.
Amira took over and hung in there with me until she got me through the process.
Amira was so professional, patient, kind, caring, and empathetic. She was phenomenal!!!
I usually don’t write a review for the dollar store, but the behavior of both of these ladies was TOP OF THE LINE, so I had to shine a spotlight on them both, and the Family Dollar Store, on Landon Rd. because they both deserved it.
If you need to go to Family Dollar, visit the one on Landover Road. As for Amira Imes. She is kind, patient, friendly, professional, and just who you need to assist you if you need some help!
The icing on the cake is… there is also someone else there with Amira, who is willing to help you.
Well stocked, neat, clean, store with professional, kind, caring staff. Please go check them out, you won’t regret it!!!

“There was this cashier, I don't know her name. It's my first time here. She was soo nice. ( A black lady with a short blonde hair). I told her I liked her outfit and she smiled with a happy positive attitude and I told her I don't know if I was the 1st time giving her a compliment today. She said you are I got here at 5:30 pm. I said yup that's an hour ago. She told me I was pretty twicr. She asked me if I needed a bag, I said yes. She put my items in the bag for me. We had a small conversation, but wanted to keep it short due to a customer coming in the line. Honestly, her outfit was fire and she was really friendly. This store was huge too.”

“Dollar Tree needs more cashiers. They have 1 cashier working the register and when the line is all the way in the back they will call for another cashier to come and open another register.”
