I visit this location just about everyday. Gas, snacks, ATM. I'm friends with all of the store staff. Recently, I brought a 2nd car - and waited until 2 days before the temp tags would expire to get it inspected. Memorial Day. The Powder Mill Rd Shell had their shop open! I spoke with the shop manager to ask WHAT would fail me on a state inspection? There was an issue with the 'hood ajar' sensor showing the hood was open and it wasn't. The shop manager took my number so that he could call me back with an answer. He did call me and told me that the issue wouldn't cause a failed inspection. I was at work when I got the call so I then called my girlfriend and had her take the car across the street to get inspected. She told me afterwards that she was treated like the shop manager knew her once she explained that this was the 'hood ajar' car. 2 hours later she texted me the list of what needed to be done to get the car up to state standards. For a car that cost me $2,700, I was surprised to see what the low the total was - and HALF of that total was for 2 new tires. Pro tip: IF the shop manager makes a suggestion, TAKE that suggestion! It will save you time. The car was ready earlier than promised. I couldn't be happier. A true professional that won't rough you up on the price. My brother works at a shop and I did text him a photo of the list and the price. He told me his shop couldn't beat the price - OR the finished time.

Please discard some of these negative comments these guys do the best job in town. The mechanics are very professional and their prices are very fair. They also do Md state inspection, and every single employee is very kind and friendly I have been coming to this place for the last 12 years. I definitely would recommend this place.

Wasim is professional, articulate, and personable! He offered to drop me off at home and pick me up after my service, which goes above and beyond exemplary customer service. Fernando did an excellent job changing my brakes and reassembling my vehicle professionally and promptly.

Janky mechanics work here. they will do a poor job then get mad when you ask about the work they did and try to brush you off with an attitude. I strongly suggest going somewhere else if you want trustworthy and respectful work done.

I went here two weeks. Tobacco was cheap so I kept going there. Now they decided to jack the prices up. I drove there so I'll just drive somewhere else. Definitely lost a customer. ??

This place is your one stop shop they have everything you need also the staff is very friendly the mechanics are top notch they know what they are doing the place is clean everybody is very professional must visit this place

This is the 2nd Shell station that says it has a carwash on Google Maps and there is NO car wash !! UPdate your damn listing and stop wasting people's time driving there!

Shell has refineries in Nigeria and other parts of the world, which are polluting the local water supply and killing everyone, leading to protests. Shell hired the military in Nigeria to kill the locals and burn down their houses. I'll never go back to a Shell station. You should join me.

If I could give a zero I would do not use your credit card inside of this store immediately after I paid for gas I was charged for something at Amazon digital and they tried to use it again right after that and my card declined it. called the place I got charged and there telling me there's no way to verify who used it. DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD INSIDE OF THIS GAS STATION
