“Absolutely fantastic DC Watch show hosted by none other than the Mr. Time Bum! And it’s completely FREE to the public!
What an event, soo many watch companies (many of whom are stellar micro-brands), the place was packed with enthusiasts!
We only went on March 8th but it’s a two day event.
So many brands to discover, and so many opportunities to buy fantastic watches at a large discounts. But most important of all, you get to try watches that are usually only available online.
Great atmosphere overall, wasn’t too crowded to the point where you couldn’t move. You actually get to talk in person to brand owners and their reps. And they even have daily giveaways!”
“Private club that allows open table reservations ... We had great service, mussels appetizer was super. We split a salad and the steak frites - they split in the kitchen and presented separately - nice touch! Food was great ...”

From the very beginning, Al, Jordan, and the entire team were thoughtful, organized, and truly invested in making our vision come to life. Their preparation and planning were outstanding; from seamlessly connecting us with excellent vendors and caterers to offering creative, practical ideas for how to best use the space. Communication was always prompt, clear, and reassuring.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran flawlessly. The venue’s industrial character paired beautifully with modern conveniences, and the flexibility of the space made the night unforgettable. We held our ceremony and dancing outside in the dock space, while the interior provided a comfortable, stylish space for dinner and for guests who wanted a break from the dance floor. The flow of the evening felt effortless. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and would choose the Mess Hall—and its incredible team—again without hesitation.”
“We had our wedding at Fathom Gallery on 14th Street a couple days ago and it was absolutely amazing! The space is gorgeous. It has such a cool vibe and made for the most beautiful setting. Emily, Meg, and Olivia are seriously the best. They were so easy to work with, super organized, and just genuinely great people. It honestly made it a no-brainer to choose Fathom! “We had our winter wedding Reception at Cherry Hill Ballroom December 13th, 2003. (22 years ago) It was a good experience. I will never forget. Since it was Holiday season they had a huge beautiful Christmas tree well decorated and a fireplace. It was so cosy and all the guest were happy and comfortable.”
“Creative Saints Loft is a phenomenal space, and the owner is amazing as well. I cohosted a vision board workshop in the space and it was the perfect venue. The lighting, decor, seating options, and versatile space are all things I loved. The booking process was smooth. Entry, setup, and breakdown was smooth. I would absolutely book the space again and highly recommend!”

“Mu husband was having cancer surgery at GWU Hospital in DC. The AKA was easy walking distance to the hospital. The property provided a delightful environment from the spacious room and the restaurant bar area. Front desk extremely accommodating. Highly recommend this charming boutique hotel.”

They have changing art exhibits and workshops, a variety of cultural presentations, art studios for rent, an archive for the preservation of local historical records and Friday night lectures. There are activities throughout the year for all age groups. Coming up in June will be their popular Strawberry Festval.”

“Great space, visited twice for the annual Whiskey Washback event. An upstairs mezzanine with tasting rooms, a lower ballroom with good ambiance. Easy accessible via the metro and several nearby garages offering discounted evening parking rates.”

Maria was welcoming and supportive in making sure the space was comfortable, our technology worked and that our coffee station was running throughout the day. “This is my favorite location in the Martin’s Chain. The pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, professional staff and service. The food is delicious and well prepared. The decor and spacious seating is impeccable. All of the other locations are great too. I’ve been to proms, weddings,crab feast , bull roast, and the American Italian Asso. Banquet over 40 years @ Martin’s locations through out Maryland. I love them so much, I work there on occasion through a temp agency. So my recommendation is twice as valid because I’ve been in the front and back of the events. The administration and management is the best.??”

“This venue is absolutely gorgeous!! It’s very elegant and very spacious. Even the bathrooms are worth a mini photoshoot . The kitchens are well stocked for your caterer and having an ice maker available in each is super convenient. The bridal suites are very elegant and a nice refugee when you need to get away as a host. They offer full service if you need it (ie: provide in- house catering and other services, can rent you the tablecloths, decor, etc) but also are flexible for a la carte items you may need or giving you the ability to bring in outside items like VIP furniture to make your event a success.
Everything including contract terms, rules, Do’s and Don’ts were clearly laid out, highlighted, and explained well during your site visit and within the documents and online portal they give you access to once you sign a contact. So there are no surprises if you read through everything . They even give you a list of preferred vendors which is helpful as these businesses are already familiar with everything . The owner Natasha, office coordinator Ishia, and all staff I communicated and dealt with were very professional, cordial, easy to work with , patient with any changes, and did all they could to help. Parking was not an issue at all and you are told to tell your guests to listen to the venue’s parking attendants and to advise your guests of the one area where not to park . So , we had no issues at all. I highly recommend and have referred several people to this venue!”

“You expect quality service when at an upscale or luxury hotel like the Grand Hyatt. Perfect print top the bottom everyone at this hotel provides service like it’s supposed to be. They are engaged and friendly. They make eye contact and acknowledge you when you walk by. They ask how things are going.
Kudos to management for instilling a service culture of excellence at this property and for hiring the wonderful people, which is not easy to do.”
