“Me and my wife came in looking to get some help with some colors as we’re painting the entire house, a tall Hispanic man with glasses named Daniel helped us out he gave us really good recommendations for colors and me and my wife loved it he was so nice and helpful and really good with colors talking about undertones and how they will look under different lighting he is amazing, if you need help with colors go to this store and ask for Daniel he is amazing with colors and product knowledge too.”
“The level of customer service here is excellent. I have a retrofitted grooming van with all kinds of custom hoses and fittings. One of them broke and I had a major leak. I explained my problem to Mike and he was able to retrofit a toilet supply line, a hose barb, and clamps to create what I needed. He cut and fitted everything on the spot. I will be coming here for all my hardware needs in the future.”
“I’ve purchased a ton of paint from this Benjamin Moore and It’s always been a great experience. Their customer service is top-notch and a huge shout out to John in particular! The street was recently blocked off and I had purchased over 20 gallons of paint to pick up. I was able to find parking a few blocks away and John loaded them up in a cart and brought them directly to my car and helped me load them up. Now that is Outstanding customer service and it truly made my day.”
“Fragers is my go-to hardware store. I am not a DIY person as a routine, and need assistance and guidance when undertaking some house projects. This visit was due to a bathroom vanity that needs repair. The Ace staff helped me match paint colors and gather the tools I would need. One of the stain colors was a bit off (the label showed a different color than the contents) but everything else was perfect.”
“My experience with Ace Hardware is solely from where I grew up in CT. This is a lot different, in a better way (I guess that’s a subjective thought). I was “used to” an unorganized place full of actual hardware from a-z as well as a lot of indoor/outdoor paint and a paint mixer. In short, I was used to Ace hardware being targeted at real handymen in the midst of a project and in need or something very specific.This store is like “a little of everything” for every part of your apartment. It’s walkable from a lot of apartments around here, and it sells all sorts of things you might need in your apartment (you don’t need to be a handyman or hardcore DIY-er to find a bunch of useful things). A huge variety of things you might need in a pinch. Granted, most are really overpriced, but I wouldn’t complain because it’s all about convenience and location. If you complain about the prices, go ahead and drive into Virginia, lose an hour of your day and walk up and down a huge store. Overall, the convenience and variety in this store is worth slightly higher prices. Nice people, as well.”

“This is a small neighborhood hardware store but they keep an impressive array of hardware, tools, paint, garden, and "lifestyle" items for most DIY projects. Where the big box stores are geared to accommodate contractors, Annie's aims for the individual and their residence. Staff is always friendly, the store is well staffed for their size so there's always someone available for questions or assistance. I really appreciate a hardware store that can still operate in the neighborhood without leveling 15 acres. Factoring in my time and general frustration with large box stores, the prices for a quick trip down the street are competitive with other options.”

“Nicolas helped me out with my paint order. It was 30 mins from closing time and I could see that he'd already had a long day with a line of customers still waiting to be served after me. He was super helpful and helped me get everything I needed for my paint project. He even helped load the paint into my car after the store's official closing time. Haven't seen this level of customer service in a while. I hope Sherwin Williams is aware of how valuable of an employee they have in Nicolas.”

As someone who doesn't have a clue about paint whatsoever Khalid* really made me feel super comfortable and shared his knowledge about the different finishes of the paints and his overall expertise. He helped me load the paints to my car and I really commend his genuine, friendly, and professional demeanor. You don't meet people like that in service anymore and that is what really matters. The experience* is what will bring me back to this store specifically and who I will be recommending amongst the people I know. “I've been mainly using sherwin williams paint for over 30 years and experimenting with other products throughout the years. I keep finding myself coming to McCormick Paints. Its not your biggest paint box store but the products they have I believe are more favourable for our climate in this area. The match point is a great low price product for contractors so the they dont have to worry about the paint matching for touch up. State house and gereration are excellent for your exterior painting needs not to mention there local to the DMV area and a family run business with great employees. Ive had issues with all paint lines but I will say McCormick Paints came to my jobsite where I had an issue with a product and Jermy there field rep and I resolved the issue and Im happy with there service and will continue to use there products. Thanks for the great service and products.”
