“The Blue House has been a Bethesda staple for cool gift items for 30 years! The store moved from its original location further down Woodmont Ave. several years ago.
Once you walk into The Blue House, you will be enchanted by all of the local and region-themed gifts available ranging from decorative pillows to unique cookbooks, candles and other decorative items.
There is something for everyone in this quaint gift shop. Their children’s section is well-stocked with various toys, books and trinkets.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
If you are looking for a unique or special gift for someone, check out The Blue House, where you are sure to find something that will be appreciated and treasured.
Parking can be a little limited depending on when you go. There is street parking and a public parking garage nearby.”

“Like other department stores, Nordstrom has differing levels of inventory in its varied categories of fashion forward items.. The helpers, when you can find one, are always willing to order what you’re looking for from another Nordstrom store. Mostly, what they do have in stock is current for the marketplace and nicely arranged. They have a good mix of standard classic clothing and trendy upscale designs. Much of the seasonal selections are discounted as in other stores of their caliber.
This should be on everyone’s list as a go to spot for much of their seasonal needs. Their return policies and cleanliness are top-notch. All of the sales people try very hard to find and help with selections and what you are looking to buy.
Unfortunately, because of the marketing trends in our current economic climate for in stock inventory is lacking. But we can’t blame Nordstrom for following what is going on in the world.”

“I love this location as well as the Tysons Corner location. I know both managers and most of the store employees. They keep me informed of all the new lines and styles coming in and treat me like royalty when shopping. Michelle is a great manager and super knowledgeable. Irma is my go to stylist and the store is always clean, neat and properly staffed. I must admit I do spend a lot here because it’s my favorite clothing line. If you love Lily P as much as I do, you will love this store. Everyone sales person is friendly and on top of their game. If in Tysons corner, say hello to Julia and their team too.”
“My son was looking for a suit for a wedding and we ended up (stressed after a bad experience in another store) at Macy's in Montgomery Mall. We were greeted by Mr Innocence who guided my son through the struggles to find a fitting suit, shirt and tie. Mr innocence was professional, patient and incredibly kind, showing no signs of rushing despite a busy time in the store. Just by eye measurements he suggested the right sizes and he listened to what my son was looking for. A very pleasant, professional experience!”

“My wife and I went to King of Prussia Mall and we stopped at Everything But Water because she loves that store.
Surprisingly, she was disappointed she could not focus on her shopping. The store at Prussia Mall was not organized as the one at Bethesda, the atmosphere was not pleasant. We are used to shop at Everything But Water in Maryland, Bethesda. Every time we visit the store we are delighted, the atmosphere is great and the customer service is amazing. The visual merchandising display of the store always stands out. My wife got familiar with the store manager, she is such a soft person and knows the needs of her customers; that makes us feel good and want to return for more shopping experiences.”

“I've been shopping here for over 10 years. Never encountered a snooty salesperson. To the contrary, it's one of the few stores I've been in where they help you build your outfits, bring clothes that will fit you better, etc. the prices are high- but not higher than other store for the same brand. I've moved out of town and miss it! One of the first places I go when I'm back in town.”
“I'll be honest, I have never been in a Vineyard Vines before but I needed a size exchange for a Christmas gift I received. I truly hope all of their customer service was as good as Erol provided. (My bad on the spelling of your name, dude!) He ran me through my options in the shop. When they didn't work out since the shirt I had was out of stock at this location, he walked me through the very seamless way to get my size online. It was one of the easiest exchanges I have experienced. I was impressed with everything in my visit. Too bad I was in a rush so I couldn't shop a bit.”
“I recently got my pants tailored at Madewell at the Montgomery Mall and I just received my pants today. Satisfied is an understatement!!!
1. Thanks to Elisa at Madewell, my pants are the perfect length. She was so patient with me while we made a few adjustments to get it right. I really appreciated that she made me feel comfortable during the process.
2. I requested a shipment from the store yesterday and received my pants today. Super fast shipping!
3. I love that the tailor was able to keep the design at the bottom without trimming it off.

“Nice Macy's location here at Westfield Montgomery Mall. I loved coming out here back before it was under Westfield. The store was clean, everything was well placed and no trash anywhere.”
