“I love this store for it's totally unique array of radios, vacuum tubes, vintage electronics, miscellaneous items you just won't find anywhere. He will not gouge you; you can really do well on price in here. Matt is agreat guy to talk with and really knows his stuff.”
“Had a great experience. Chris had a lot of nice stuff Wich suites to my similar interests. Had some neat taxidermy few oddities really neat wood carvings. The furniture was quality and overall had a lot of nice stuff. I go in alot of antique stores and found his to be well worth the trip. We found a nice dresser Wich Chris had a lot of knowledge on. He worked with me on prices and was very fun to talk to. Great experience and great guy.”
“The gentleman ( and I use that word very purposefully) at Keller's Antiques was kind, welcoming, and very helpful. He has a smaller store than the other two in Oldtown Bowie. But there are definitely some hidden treasures in there if you're willing to dig a bit. He also, proclaimed to be flexible on the prices of items in the shop, and proved this as he was showing me a phonograph or two. The biggest issue I have with the shop is the condition of some of the antiques. This is definitely a place where you'll get something for a great price and will put the money you saved into restoration/repair. The owner showed me several victrola style phonographs, and all of them definitely needed some love. He also also has a backroom with a good deal of medium to large antique mantle clocks; but alot of them look like they need need a bit of love too. That being said, I did walk out with a Helen Reddy record "Helen Reddy's Greatest Hits", and a 3 piece mid century cheese/appetizer serving set that looks like it hadn't been used at all for 10 bucks. My friend walked out with a small brass (what seemed to be) Persian style shoe ashtray for 2 dollars. This is a store that I'd 100 percent stop by when I come back to Oldtown Bowie. Among the three shops, it has the most reasonably prices and a decent selection. Lots to look at!”
