“I cannot find the right words to express what this clinic means to me and my beloved pets. If you have a moment, I’d like to share my story:
In July 2025, my 6-year-old cat, Joey, was rushed to emergency due to a urinary blockage. After a week of uncertainty and a recurring blockage, I found the team at Lynn Clinic. From the start, they truly understood my situation and the deep anxiety I felt for my baby. They did everything humanly possible for him, and I truly felt we were in the best hands. The doctors and assistants don't just treat patients; they stand by you and share in your pain. Sadly, my furry baby passed away on August 28, 2025.
Recently, our family welcomed a beautiful Shih Tzu puppy named Manchas. Without a second thought, I brought him here. I know this is a team of professionals who lead with humanity and a genuine love for animals. Believe me, you won’t want to take your pets anywhere else.”

“We take our dog and cat to this vet and have always had positive experiences! The vets are friendly and explain things thoroughly when needed. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet techs seem to really care about the animals. Overall, they are also upfront about pricing and costs.
Our dog fights really hard when it's time for shots or a nail trim, but the staff here is patient and helpful when he is being a wild man. Special shout out to Mimi who was so kind and thoughtful when helping give our dog his shots and care. She definitely helped keep him as calm as possible to minimize stress.”

“I have been taking my dog to Clarendon Animal Care North for a few years now and I have had nothing but positive experiences, but more importantly, my dog has had nothing but positive experiences. He is an extra sensitive dog who requires sedated visits and some creative solutions to getting him the care he needs, while also limiting his stress as much as possible. The staff at Clarendon have been extremely gentle, understanding, and patient with finding solutions that work for him, while also giving him great medical care. Without a truly caring Fear Free vet like Clarendon, I don't know what we would do!”

“I moved to Hyattsville Animal Hospital when my previous vet (of 15 years) just went downhill and a lot of trust was lost. My pet sitter highly recommended Dr. K so I made an appointment and never looked back. This is a terrific hospital from the front office and back office staff to the care. Dr. K is wonderful with all my littles (2 of my own) - I started fostering a little one and she goes there now, too. Their costs are the best in the area hands down. The facility is not flashy but it's nice and it's the care that matters and parking is not an issue ever. As long as they are there - all my littles will be their patients.”

I’ve been bringing my dogs to VCA Old Town for around 5 years, and I can’t say enough good things about the team here. From the front desk to the techs to the vets, everyone is incredibly kind and professional.
Edgar and Cheyenne (most recent interaction), along with Dr. Lacoste’s tech (I think her name is nicole), are phenomenal—gentle, calm, and attentive every single visit. We’ve seen both Dr. Madera and Dr. Lacoste, and they’ve both gone above and beyond in providing excellent care.
Everyone at the front desk staff is equally amazing. They keep things running smoothly and make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Becca and Avery in particular are always welcoming, warm and efficient, answering any questions I have no matter how silly.
One of my dogs has had a particularly tough year with infections and some more serious issues, and the team has supported us every step of the way. When she was attacked by another dog last year, VCA Old Town went out of their way to give us a private space to wait, away from the crowds/dogs, and that meant a lot to us.
My other dog is always relaxed when we come in—which says a lot—and I never feel anxious either. What I love most is how everyone treats the dogs with respect. They’re never overly excitable or loud; they maintain a calm, professional presence that really helps dogs feel safe.
I’m so grateful for this team that truly goes above and beyond. I trust them completely with my dogs’ care.”

“I regret not coming here sooner. Many times, I visited this shopping center and saw the vet, but I never went in until my rescue cat, Bigotes, became critically ill. Dr. Ogando—what a blessing to have her as a primary vet! she went above and beyond with Bigotes care. The WHOLE office had been amazing to Bigotes and I. Prices are much better here than other vet offices. I suggested to everyone to stop in here before any other vet office. They are open and Sundays too!!! which is a really wonderful opportunity just in case we need them. No words can describe who grateful I'm with Dr. Ogando and all these Staff. “We recently moved to Chevy Chase and needed a new vet for our dog, and honestly, I could not be happier with this clinic. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they put so much thought into creating a welcoming, comfortable, and caring environment. The waiting area is spotless, beautifully decorated, and even the seating is super comfortable, which I really appreciated.
One of my favorite little surprises was the fish tanks throughout the clinic. They’re filled with gorgeous, colorful fish, including a little Nemo (yes, a real clownfish!) which was such a cute touch. It honestly made the space feel calm and happy, and my dog loved looking around and exploring.
The staff is truly exceptional. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely interested in getting to know us and our pup. They weren’t rushed at all, they took time to talk to me, learn about my dog, and make sure we felt supported. You can tell these people are in this line of work because they truly care.
I also came back to pick up her medication, and not only was it affordable, but they packed it in the cutest little goody bag with doggy designs on it. Such a small detail, but honestly it made my day, it shows how thoughtful and detail oriented they are.
My dog felt safe, I felt listened to, and the whole experience was just top-tier. Professional, warm, and caring from start to finish. I am so thankful to have found this place, truly an amazing clinic, and I can’t recommend them enough! ?❤️”
