“Always a great experience with Anne Arundel! Been here many times, but moved away so we switched vets. Had a bad experience with the other vet so I came back for 2nd opinions and I’m glad I did. I’ve seen all of the vets here but Dr. Schrank has been taking care of my cat Frankie for a couple years now. She had some dental issues that he took care of last year and he’s been taking care of her since. I can’t thank him enough for the help he’s given with Frankie. The entire team is awesome too. My dog Daphne is very shy with new people so when I bring her in she has a note in her chart letting them know to be calm with her and give her cheese, which makes me smile. “I called upon arrival and quickly called back to bring the dogs to the entrance.. I was met by a staff member. I went back to my car and the appointment went fairly quickly. The attending vet called me and gave me details along with a compliment that my older dog had lost weight. Yea!”
“Our Family can't say enough good things about everyone at FRVH. The staff are kind and competent, the Doctors are amazing. Our Rocky was always welcomed by everyone and received excellent care over the years. When the time came to say goodbye to our pup, it felt like we were with family.They were so kind and thoughtful. The next day they sent us a beautiful white rose in memory of Rocky. It was so nice to know they were thinking of us. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants excellent care, customer service and a family environment.”
“We took our senior cat, Polly, to Village Vet when we moved to the neighborhood. They were so compassionate in her final two years, even allowing us to come in after closing so we didn't have to go to the emergency vet to put her down. It's easy to get appointments, prices are comparable to other places, and we're now taking our newly adopted cats there!”

Rocky has been going to Calvert for over 11 years and the entire staff knew him. They were very supportive with my decision. Various staff members came in to say good bye to him and told me how much all of them loved Rocky. It meant the world to me. Thank you all.”
“We took two year old Great Pyrenees mixes this week. The staff could not have been nicer. Intake was fast and easy. Discharge was just as quick but very informative. On the second day the doc was moving her vehicle as I was pulling in, she came to the car , opened the door, greeted the pup and thanked me for being early. Both boys are recovering well and would recommend the clinic to anyone. PS took my son's two cats there 11 years ago and was happy then too.”
“My Chihuahua Moxie received outstanding care from Dr. PARRISH, and our Technicians Lexi and Sarah! They explained everything during our visit, and made our visit a very positive one. Moxie had an urgent care visit today that required IV fluids, and medications. The staff at Eastern Animal Hospital really went above and beyond extending wonderful care and customer service.”

“I brought in my family dog because it seemed like it was her time. She was 15. And all I can say is that once again Dr. Vaughan was so amazing! She may have put it down but that doesn’t mean she didn’t show any less care or love. I appreciate everything she did as my sister and I were in there crying and wishing it wasn’t the time to say goodbye. She walked us through the process and made sure to make sure we were ready. She was so honest and professional through the whole experience. And the tech Ari was also so freaking amazing. I actually switched my own pets to this vet because of Ari and Dr. Vaughan. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for the care of any of my pets.”
“I brought all three of my cats in at the same time and they did an amazing job. The doctor took her time with each exam and was patient with all of my questions. The staff was friendly and handled my spicy, anxious cats very well. Plus, it’s affordable!”

“We had an incredibly positive experience at Thrive Animal Hospital during a very stressful and emotional time for our family. Our beloved cat, Buster, was in significant pain, and getting him into his crate was heartbreaking and difficult.
Nurse Cara was a tremendous support both over the phone and in person. When we were struggling to get Buster safely into his crate because of his unrelenting pain, she was calm, reassuring, and compassionate. During the visit, her kindness toward Buster and toward us meant more than we can say.
Dr. Daniel was exceptionally thorough in his work up and communication. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions with patience, and approached Buster’s care with real empathy and thoughtfulness. We felt heard, supported, and confident in the plan he created for us.
Even the front desk staff went above and beyond. One team member kindly lent me her phone charger when my battery was dying, which was such a small but meaningful act during a hard day.
We left with a clear plan and medications to help keep Buster comfortable, and most importantly, we left feeling cared for. We are so grateful to this team for their skill, compassion, and humanity.”
“We’ve taken all our dogs to Dr. T at Light street animal hospital since we moved here 5 years ago. We’ve adopted two senior pitties in the past who have had various health issues and Dr. T has always been open and honest about their prognosis and quality of life. Dr. T is very kind and compassionate and you can tell he truly loves being a vet. The staff is also very kind and our dogs love them. We have a feisty dachshund mix who can be fearful, but the staff and Dr. T are very good with him. When we had to make the last minute decision to euthanize our dog, they made time for us at the end of the day and gave us all the time we needed. Peaches, Phoebe, Fred and Penny say thank you!”
“My vet died suddenly. Many of us were heartbroken, and left to wonder whether we would find a good provider. So far, the vets here have provided me with a good experience. They got back to me immediately and gave me good feedback about caring for my cat.”

“We have been taking our dogs here for about 12 years and never had a bad experience. On Martin Luther King day our 14 1/2 year old lab experienced some sort of neurological episode and we knew it was probably time to say goodbye. I called the office knowing it would be a busy day with people off from work. They offered to have us come in right before their lunch time. After spending some time petting and loving on Brownie, the vet agreed that it was probably our sweet Brownie’s time. The entire staff were so considerate and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted saying goodbye(even though we know it was eating into their lunch time) They made us the sweetest paw and nose prints as well. Brownie also had exceptional care 5 years ago after an emergency surgery. At that time the vet called us every day from surgery to her follow up appointment to check on her. They have also provided amazing care for our other two dogs. I can’t imagine them not always offering the best care possible.”

I came in with my cat a sleep deprived crying wired mess and left feeling so much better. The prices were very affordable for a student like me and everyone was so kind. I don't care that it's a 30+ minute drive away, this is my new clinic. If I had the money to pay them full price I would because they're good people.”

We had a dog with seizures that was treated with the utmost compassion. We currently have a mini golden doodle with urinary issues and Dr Chaudry has been wonderful with his customized care and compassion for her. The vet techs and folks who work the desk are a wonderful representation of Banfield and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

“I have been taking my pets here on and off for some years now. With my current cat, the service here has been exceptional. The staff at the front desk is polite, and accomodating. You can feel that they care about the animals that come in. The doctor is amazing as well, bringing up points and concerns that I may not be aware of. They always give me options and never force me to purchase a service, as well as explaining all charges that will be due for each visit (no surprises). With my cat's most recent accident, they have been very attentive to his changes and needs, and they address all concerns during each visit. I also receive a follow up call, which means a lot.”

“Great place for affordable vaccines for your pets. I take my dog here every year. Keep in mind the wait though. No appointments, just walk ins because it’s a clinic. No sick pets. Get there early when they open. You can’t beat the prices. And the vet and the techs are really great. They know their stuff, and they’re great with my dog.”
