I visited to have a battery replaced in my Elgin (yes, it is ancient), and left with an exquisite watch that only requires indoor or natural light to power it - no more batteries! I also discovered the wide variety of services they provide, in addition to their top-notch customer service. Vino and Raja took their time with me, answering all my questions about jewelry and watch repair/cleaning (they provide both), as well as educating me about the difference between automatic and eco-powered watches. I returned several days later to have a ring repaired. This time, I left with sparkling diamond earrings that I can pay off over time with no interest! Throughout the sale, Vino and Raja patiently showed me many earrings of differing quality and value. Their prices are quite competitive, plus they stand behind what you purchase. Unlike the internet, if a problem arises, I have people with integrity and honor to contact. I can't say enough about their superb customer service and knowledge about all ins and outs of the "Gold N Diamonds" business.”

“This is the absolute best place to learn jewelry making. Most of the reviews on here talk about classes and while I cant speak to these directly, if anyone ever has a desire to make an engagement ring or wedding bands, really any piece of jewelry. I highly recommend this place! I approached the owner, Dan, with an idea for an engagement ring with a stone, a few pictures of generally what I was looking for the ring to look like...and that's about it. He was able to take my idea and fully walk me through the cost breakdown of materials and lessons, process of purchasing materials (including the stone), and then the actual implementation of making the ring. He taught me the basic flow of how a ring gets made: shaping the metal via hammering, carving the extra accents on the ring in my specific request, making the setting, filing, soldering the pieces together, and polishing the piece as a whole.We practiced in silver first which I really appreciated having never done this before. So I ended up actually with two finished pieces in end, a practice ring (silver), and the actual engagement ring (platinum). The final engagement ring cost less than what I would have paid for in a store and is physically stronger than a ring from a store due to it being handmade and not cast. Honestly if my house were closer to the studio, I'd sign up for the classes that this place offers. Even though most of my lessons were largely private sessions, I still got to interact with other people taking his classes and his extended study students.This place completely exceeded my expectations in every way. I'll definitely be coming back here to make the wedding bands with my fiancée.”

“This has to be one of my favorite antique stores. Adele and Mara are knowledgeable and passionate about all the merchandise they have. We literally could’ve talked to them all day if we weren’t holding up the line for others to enter the store.They have quite the collection that is fairly priced as they’ve done the research on each item. I ended up purchasing the most beautiful set of silverware I’ve seen, and intend to come back at another date to buy the cutest tea strainer I’ve seen (fingers crossed it’s still there!)Also want to say thank you for not discriminating against us when we came in. This is one of the few antique stores where we were treated like normal people and not stalked around like we’re thieves just because of the color of our skin or treated lowly because we’re not super rich.”
“For the last decade I have purchased all my wife's jewelry from Kripps Jewelers. The service is great, Vin is very friendly and will listen to me when I explain what I am looking for and show me--or even create--exactly what I want without showing me anything I am not interested in seeing. On a couple occasions, I have asked Vin to create custom pieces using/accenting family heirlooms, and everything has been spectacular. My wife and I love everything that I have ever purchased from Kripps Jewelers and I have not shopped at another Jewelry store in the last decade. The beautiful workmanship is amazing, and Vin's service is beyond compare...I actually enjoy going to the jeweler!”

Emily and Dejan also provided help with the design and for the final product Eduardo was able to include technically challenging additions. The quote for the work was very reasonable and they stuck to the quote even when little changes needed to be made. They kept us informed throughout the whole process. We really appreciated how personal the process felt, especially after we had looked into initially going through online vendors.I was also struck by Fleisher’s great selection of silver and gold jewlery— some great (and affordable) finds!My ring is stunning — beautiful craftsmanship and excellent quality. I had one concern with a prong being a little larger than the others and Fleisher’s addressed it immediately. I went in with one of my watches thinking I needed to replace the battery only to find out the watch doesn't have a battery but it's based on wear for function, imagine that. They did place new battery in one of my watches and they were able to size my new coach watch! They were super quick I was in and out in about 20 minutes. They were also super kind and very attentive and very knowledgeable on watches. Appreciate them very much will recommend always!”

“I had a very specific, nontraditional design in mind for my engagement ring, that I knew would have to be custom made. To ensure I got a ring I loved, my fiancé and I opted to go through the engagement ring shopping process together. Neither one of us had any experience with Jewelers, engagement rings, diamonds, or custom jewelry, but lucky for us, a friend of ours suggested we go see Dino at MSD. BEST RECOMMENDATION EVER! The experience was so overwhelmingly positive and easy. During our first appointment with Dino, I explained the design I wanted, which was based on a custom ring my mom had designed by a jeweler years ago with a few minor tweaks. Dino took his time to listen to what I wanted, look at my mom's ring, ask us a few questions, and gave us some valuable insight on a few things. He did all of this without pressure or judgment. He also asked my fiancé about his budget, because he wanted to make sure the ring he designed stayed in budget, which it did. Two weeks later we went in to see the wax mold, 3D CAD image, and the diamond..... we ended up pulling the trigger right there on the spot. I'm not one to rush into large purchases without some due diligence - so when we first started the ring shopping process, we had planned on shopping around before making a decision but Dino was our first stop and after seeing the CAD image of the ring he designed for us (exceeded all my expectations - it was love at first sight - which, for me, is rare - just ask my fiancé ). Just like that, I had no interest in shopping around. Over the course of the next three weeks, practicing patience was very difficult for me, I had gotten a glimpse of my engagement ring, and I was SO READY to have it on my finger. Before I knew it, the wait was over, and it was so worth the wait. There are no words to express just how amazing our experience was. From start to finish, Dino and his team are exceptional. There is no question, they know what they are doing, they do it well, and they clearly care about their work and their customers. Thank you, Dino and MSD!”
