The staff is knowledgeable like Fragers of yore without the crowded piled aisles.The rooftop garden is a work in progress, but the space should prove incredible before long.Nice tool selection, garden section is adequate but slightly slim on choices, the upstairs has a little bit of everything else.”

“Very nice roadside farmer's market! Plenty of parking is available, and they offer fresh squeezed lemonade during warmer months. The market staff are very polite and there is something for everyone there.The fresh cut watermelon is out of this world delicious (and I'm not crazy about watermelon). They have sweets, salty snacks, jams/marmalade, meat/poultry, sauces/seasonings, drinks and cheese. Prices are pretty in-line for a market, so a little higher than a Target or Wal-Mart, but the experience shopping at Miller Farms is very nice.Highly recommend if you're in the area!”

“Highly recommended! Gardenology completely transformed our backyard garden that lacked a theme and had been overtaken by weeds and invasive plants. They approached the project with a clear vision but were also open to dialogue and refinement. They were able to move certain plants to better locations to save us some money and worked seamlessly with a hardscape contractor on site at the same time. Excellent horticultural knowledge and attention to detail; responsive customer service; and reasonable prices.”

“This is a small neighborhood hardware store but they keep an impressive array of hardware, tools, paint, garden, and "lifestyle" items for most DIY projects. Where the big box stores are geared to accommodate contractors, Annie's aims for the individual and their residence. Staff is always friendly, the store is well staffed for their size so there's always someone available for questions or assistance. I really appreciate a hardware store that can still operate in the neighborhood without leveling 15 acres. Factoring in my time and general frustration with large box stores, the prices for a quick trip down the street are competitive with other options.”

“This place rocks. We went here after a huge fail at a nearby store. Upon entering Frager's, we were greeted by a nice employee who gave us perfect directions to exactly where we needed to go. Pretty good selection of planters and pots here, too. Far better prices than some of the other good stores like American Plant (another good store, but located on the outer reaches of the solar system in Bethesda)Definitely go here and not the new, trendy store at Eastern Market.”

“Let me tell you about the fantastic experience I had with Home Depot Kitchen Designer Ingrid. The sheer number of choices and decisions to be made when remodeling a kitchen can seem daunting, and it helps to have a knowledgeable designer to work with. I tried two other well known stores and didn't get the sense that the designers actually wanted to help design a kitchen. It was more of a rush to churn out a quick design with no nuance or tailoring to my needs. With Ingrid, she was friendly, patient, offered thoughtful ideas, and she clearly understands that details matter. During my three appointments with her to work on the design, I noticed how other staff interacted with her. She is clearly liked and respected. By the end, I felt good about the kitchen we designed together. I don't know if all Home Depot kitchen designers are like Ingrid, I just know she was an absolute gem!”

“Arrived just before 5 on a Friday afternoon. I had called before I came and been told they closed at 6pm not 5.The people to help had left a bit early ( it had rained ). The gentleman who was there ( not one of the manual laborers) was exceptionally helpful. He could have just said ‘They are gone’ or ‘Not my job’. Instead he left what he was doing and loaded 10 bags of mulch into my car, and was exceptionally polite and kind.Thank you soo much Sir. You made my day - actually my whole weekend!! The app said that they had three in stock. So the associate said that some may be up high and he looked and he was able to find one for us. So I give an A+ to Dylan. But a D for the app.”

I went in feeling very trepidatious about refinishing my deck and fence and left feeling confident in my skills, tools and materials and just...happy? The vibe in the store is that the staff genuinely like each other and being at work/helping people. I felt safe asking stupid questions and gained a lot of knowledge. Like, seriously blown away by the staff. The store was also super clean and organized. Just an easy and nice experience!”

“Ok. I barely use Yelp anymore. But I had to share a great customer service experience at this Home Depot that I had recently. I had a slightly unreasonable request I should mention. Yet, Aleshia at the customer service desk went above and beyond to help me get the item that I needed that was not in store. It took about a few days for it to be said and done, but she helped greatly and even when I came in for an unrelated project, she still remembered me and followed up from the order before. Her and Shaquanda are outstanding providers of customer service and I wanted them to be recognized. Working in retail (and any other service industry) is hard but its great to see people who still have spirit in them. I will continue to shop at Home Depot for my projects.”

“The bouquet was delivered on time to my work. It was sent by my husband as a surprise. It was a very nice surprise. The flowers were beautiful and the vase was beautiful as well. My husband said that the flowers were a little bit smaller than he expected, because he paid for a “deluxe” bouquet. But I loved them. I was happy to receive them for that special day!The flowers also last long time. I think that it’s an important matter too. It’s today and they are still looking good. I received them almost two weeks ago.I do recommend this place.Thank you for reading.”
