Saturday passport appointments are always cancelled and they don’t tell you until you show up. They say the lady keeps calling off; somehow there’s always an “emergency” on Saturday. Wasted my time (and others) two weekends in a row. Book an appointment somewhere else - don’t waste your time trying to book at this location.

This distribution center I believe is stealing checks. The informed delivery sent a picture showing my son’s SSI check was to be delivered last week. Guess what nothing came. I haven’t received mail in a week and a half. I went to the post office on Suitland Rd and they stayed informed delivery was a joke. And just because it states it’s coming doesn’t mean you’re getting it the day they show you. And they blamed the distribution center n Capitol Heights. I am gett These notifications about receiving mail but haven’t received any in almost two weeks.

Extremely disappointing experience with this USPS location.
The staff responsible for receiving packages are consistently negligent and act as if they don’t want to work. Their attitude is unprofessional, unfriendly, and downright rude. Every time I visit, I’m met with indifference, cold responses, and a clear lack of willingness to assist.
They often delay scanning or processing packages, and there’s no sense of responsibility or customer care. When I ask questions or try to get help, I’m either ignored or spoken to in a dismissive tone.
This kind of behavior reflects very poorly on USPS as a whole. This location seriously needs supervision and accountability. I hope USPS management steps in and takes corrective action before more customers are treated this way.

I went to this Office the Staff said ink pens aren’t furnished due to high theft of supplies is unprofessional. After hours equivalent for self postage was having problems unable to read address which is accurate. Then it felt ghetto no real info sharing. Priority mail was expected to arrive on Sat arrived in Washington DC where it is presently as of Wednesday April 23, 2025 which was expected to arrive on Sat April 19, 2025 & never arrived on Sat as stated on receipt. No one answers the telephone because it goes to a 800 number leadership has corrupted our mail system.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service we received from the red-haired staff member at the post office during our recent passport appointment. Despite my husband's tardiness, she remained patient and professional, ensuring that our experience was seamless and stress-free. Her kindness and courtesy extended to my daughter as well, making us feel valued and supported throughout the process. Although I'm terrible with names, her excellent service has left a lasting impression on me. Kudos to this outstanding team member! Her dedication and warm demeanor are a true asset to the post office. Thank you again for your outstanding service, and to the rest of the staff. They were all cheerful with all customers.

Package sent from Calif 5 weeks ago. Tracking says it's been sitting at Capital Heights for 3 weeks! And no response from them. These were family photos, not replaceable. Horrid service!

Nobody cares! They keep you running around back and forth. Truckers who deliver load here wont sign your BOLs. You get the run around from 1 building to another building
