208 High Street, ChestertownOur dinner at The Kitchen at The Imperial was truly an experience we will remember and cherish! From the moment my hubby, brother-in-law, and I walked through the door, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, genuine smiles, and such wonderful hospitality.
When I mentioned that my hubby, Ken, would be celebrating his birthday next week, they surprised us with a personalized menu that said “Happy Birthday, Ken!” What a thoughtful and unexpected touch! It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant so much and made our evening even more special.
Our server, Angela, was absolutely wonderful. She was so personable, attentive, and professional, and made us feel like we were dining with friends rather than simply being customers.
And the food… absolutely incredible! My hubby and I had the crab cakes, while my brother-in-law enjoyed the surf and turf. Every single dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Everything about our evening was perfection!
It’s not often that a restaurant leaves such a lasting impression, but The Kitchen at the Imperial truly did. Our only regret is that we live in New Jersey and were only visiting for the weekend. Knowing it will be awhile before we can return is the hardest part—but we are already looking forward to the next time!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire staff for making our evening so special. You didn’t just serve us a wonderful meal—you gave us a beautiful memory that we will take home with us. ❤

10168 Worton Rd, ChestertownI want to give a huge shout-out to the Kent County Animal Shelter for such an incredible experience. Last Friday, I adopted my puppy Kevin, and it truly couldn’t have gone any better.
A special thank-you to Fletcher, who made the entire process feel easy and comfortable. He has such a natural, caring way about him almost like a nurse in how attentive and thoughtful he is. When he introduced me to Kevin, he didn’t just hand him over; he took the time to show me how to interact with him, how to manage him, and really made sure I felt confident. That guidance made all the difference and ultimately led me to adopt Kevin.
Paige was also amazing throughout the process thank you for your kindness and support!
You all are doing incredible work for these animals. Please keep it up you’re making a real difference. Thank you again!
