“Demmy's is a very good pharmacy with very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. The only issue ai hae is with their email process and how the app is designed and works. I find it not easy to use and understand. I find that many things I want appear to only be to be done by asking the pharmacy individuals to do it. If a user can do the things, that ia not obvious. I would prefer using a much more user friendly app which is easily understandable -- that is not what I have found in using the app for a little more than two months evn though I have extensive knowledge of computers.”

“For all of you that go to CVS and Walgreens and are frustrated with long lines, long wait times for prescription fills or refills, poor communication, or just bad customer service, you must make ALLENTOWN DISCOUNT PHARMACY your #1 pharmacy. Most times, they will call you upon receiving your prescription, fill it within an hour, call and let you know when it is filled. If it is an automatic refill, no problem. They will call to let you know that a refill is about to take place and then call you again when it is ready. Howard, the owner is very knowledgeable and super friendly. He managed the #1 Walgreens years ago before Walgreens' service took a dive. Howard is genuinely concerned about his customers and wants to help. Please give this pharmacy a try and let me know through Google reviews if you have a similar experience. I drive from Upper Marlboro to Clinton just to receive this superb experience. I understand that this is not a long drive. My point is that I pass several CVS and Walgreens just to come here.”
“I've searched just about every pharmacy for Bacteriostatic water and couldn't find any. I even searched on Amazon, which does have it, but it would take a week to retrieve. After a long search, I was about to give up when someone told me to try All Care Pharmacy in Oxon Hill, Maryland. I said what would it hurt. I have the pharmacy on the phone, and they said they have what I need. I drove down, and little be hold they have it!!”

“This Giant store is what you call “top dawg”. The products here are plentiful and they always have what I need. They have a deli and a seafood area where you can buy a lot of fresh stuff. The pharmacy here is really good. But the prices are absolutely horrendous. Giant is so expensive and they claim to have low prices. Also the receipts are sooo long! I get one thing and the receipt is 8 inches!! (I measured it).”

“I went to store #342 on 12/13/25. Michelle the cashier at the Giant was so nice and very professional! Michelle took the time to help me with my giant app that all of a sudden was acting like it wasn't trying to function well, Michelle took her time helping me and it ran into the time that she was supposed to be getting off of work. Michelle Still was willing to help me it was very frustrating for me and got very overwhelming Michelle helped me through the overwhelming and getting my giant app working as should have! “The absolute BEST! I should have written this review years ago. I am so grateful that my doctor recommended this pharmacy to me years ago, because in a city full of chain pharmacies (with pharmacists who often can’t be bothered to spend 2 seconds with you, and that are often out of stock on meds) the experience of going to a pharmacy can feel frustrating and disconnected. Here, they offer actual compassion and personality. It feels like the type of service you can only get in small towns. And yet, it’s right in the heart of DC.

I got it honest..Update July 17,2025 Giant on Allentown rd in the deli department are not friendly. Customer service is not good. I think bill just start going to the Giant on 210 it’s better.”
“I've been shopping here since it was a Super Giant. There's probably few people remaining around here that know or even remember what that was. It's always been a good store. Since it was downsized many years ago from the Super Giant to a regular Giant it's a bit on the small size by today's standards, with not as big a selection as other stores, but it also makes it much easier to navigate and get in and out of. The store is clean, well stocked, and the people working there have always been super nice and helpful.”
“The regular lines were several people long, but the self-checkout had no wait. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. In general, I like this store. They keep it organized, clean, and stocked. When there has been a problem, the employees have been nice and helpful.

“This place is charming and old school. You feel a sense of community as soon as you enter. I needed a $1 water bottle but there’s a $5 credit card limit so the cashier gave me the water bottle and told me I could come back and pay the $1 another time. I was in awe at the small town sensibility. I will be returning very soon to pay $1 cash. I hope they don’t go out of business. These kinds of places are what’s missing in America.”

“This review is specifically for the fact that I can save time (what) to drop off my FedEx packages. I had no idea that this was a new thing at Walgreens. There is a specific section to drop your sections off, the sales associate scans your item, takes your phone number and BAM you're done. Easy Peasy lemon squeezy. Can't get any better than that!”
