“Our favorite place to shop in the area! They have good selections, decent number of premium brands (Theory, All saints, Vince, Saks off 5th) as well as your standard CK, Adidas and Nike stores. They also have a couple cosmetic stores and I go there to get basic skin care for cheaper. Overall, not the best premium outlet I've been to but would say best option in the area. One downside is their foodcourt selection - wish they had better options than what's currently available. Hoping they improve!”
“The weather was beautiful on Saturday, so we decided to go to the Rio Center. We love to take a walk around the lake, walk up one side of the street, Tout Les Jours bakery for a sweet treat and walk down the other side of the street. We love to visit here.”

“We recently visited with family and really appreciated how easy it was to get around, even with kids and a bit of foot traffic. The layout felt intuitive, with clear sections that made it simple to find what we needed without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. Compared to other malls we’ve been to, this one feels noticeably more organized and comfortable to navigate. It also has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours just walking around, grabbing a bite, or browsing shops without feeling rushed. Overall, it turned out to be a solid choice for a casual family outing.”
“Military and veteran friendly, boasting patriot star in windows of businesses offering a discount to Military, veterans and their families, with id. Many high end outlet stores there is something for everyone.
Split level shopping, with elevators, stairs, escalators and plenty of parking on both levels. Outdoor entrances with some covered areas. Plenty of spots to stop and rest thoughout.
Food court has a plethora of seating and food options .
Gets busy, during holiday shopping, summer and various other high shopping times. Some of the more popular stores have lines to ensure building code is followed for safety.

“Clean friendly, great stock. Good people. Giant is the only grocery store. I like to shop at in the d. MV because of its consistency, however, I wish they would get back to some of the old things that super giant used to do under previous ownership.”

“Small shopping plaza that consists of a Coffee Shop, Jimmy John's, an Italian restaurant and Smoothie King. There is also a FedEx, Bank and Liquor store here as well. Plenty of parking and relatively easy to navigate lot”
“The reason I know as much about Walmart as I do, is because I work there. And it has been recently remodeled. The price scanners that used to be on poles around the store were taken down. Now if one wants to check the price of a product, ask an associate and one of us can scan it for you. Plus, the Walmart app has a scan feature. Folks, please be kind to associates. We work hard to help you and to keep the store clean and stocked.”

“Nice place by rail track, has many tress around which provide shade. Shops, gas station and beautiful churches nearby, one church rings bells every few minutes, which provides a serene experience and I personally find it beautiful. There are also a few houses which look like my hometown houses.”

“Sorta funny in my eyes how you can... review a chunk of shops? But I'll review anyway. Its a very nice atmosphere here and all the shops I've gone to here have good food and all that. I dunno its a strip mall what more could I say.”
“Mount Airy Shopping Center is a great local strip mall with a variety of shops for just about all needs, food, pet needs, beer, liquor, shoes, beds, pack n ship, hair cut, restaurants, Walmart etc. It has plenty of parking and a Safeway around the other side.”
“Chettinad restaurant is an all time favorite. A close to authentic south Indian cuisine in this area. The only restaurant apart from A2B Providing 3 chutneys and sambar for idly and dosa. Love their Thaali too . Their service is slow. Prefer To-go to dine in.”
“We eat at the Japanese Restaurant quite a Bit. Love the atmosphere and the food is such a delight.The entertainment is all about the chefs, and be aware, you will probably need a Doggie bag .”

“Giant Food, laundromat, Play More Games board games store and several restaurants. My adult son loves the game store for D&D books and dice. Very comfy couch in there for us parents! The Laundromat is super busy so be careful in the parking lot.”
“Love Rio but it’s 2024 this place needs more things for people to do like a rolling skating ring,go karts or adding a bowling alley A zip line going across the lake or even doing construction and have all that in one building and this place definitely needs better security guards definitely should look into a more top-tier security company Rio is constantly expanding and we can’t take chances.”

“Diamond Square is a great shopping center, with shops and great ethnic local restaurants. Play More Games is a particular local gem that deserves much love and support!”
“Pretty decent stores in the plaza, be aware at night in this area though. the Roy Rogers and H mart are my favorite stores to go to in the Montgomery village shopping plaza. during the evenings it gets pretty sketchy so I would advise you to be alert in this area during the evenings.”

“The Weis grocery store is long gone, but if it's any compensation, they are putting in a fitness center. Plenty of parking, MoCo liquor store, Great Redwings shoes, bank of America and MDoT offices. Also a 7-Eleven. The music store around the north end is gone now too.”
“They have a range of restaurants, shops and a Safeway. There's plenty of parking, but there may not be parking close to the restaurants and stores you are going to, depending on the time of day. Very close to Shady Grove Hospital, but not close enough to walk to in my opinion.”

“Heavily populated and very busy community whether it's weekday or weekend. Visited place almost 10yrs ago looking for rentals You can see rows and rows of townhouses from the ball field. With trees matured it really looks nice 10yrs later.”
