“Clean, well organized, helpful staff, quality products, it’s what I nostalgically remember what a hardware store should be.I usually pass by the big box stores to frequent Clark’s when I need something for the house or the yard. Expectations have to be realistic, they don’t have the variety of the larger stores but they generally have what I need and the prices are competitive.Big pluses….they actually fill propane tanks, they sell high end tool and outdoor cooking brands, the hardware section is organized and easy to find the right sizes, and the staff know what they are talking about.Spread the word to support locally owned businesses that are well run!”
“Wow. Let me say it again, wow, because once is not enough. I have NEVER had an experience in a hardware store like the one I just had here. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and a request to offer assistance. When I told the associate what I needed, she told me what aisle it was in and said she'd have another associate meet me there to help. The one she called was about two steps behind me, and he was very helpful, coming up with different ways I might try to do what I needed to do. When I checked out I was even offered a free reusable bag, the kind every other place charges for! I don't live near this store, just happened to be nearby on an errand, but next time I need something they carry I will happily drive those extra miles!”

“Zimmerman's Hardware is 1 1/2 hours travel time from my residence. Number one, the reason I shopped that far away is because they were the only retailer within reasonable driving distance that had the product in stock. Number two, as advertised they texted me when the product was ready for pick-up. Number three, the product was ready for my arrival as per stated procedure. The store appeared well organized and clean. I wanted to browse a little, but I was short on time. Hardware stores are all but gone in my area because the "big department stores" have under cut them which is a shame, but this store got my attention.”

“I am a contractor and own two older vans that needed a paint job. I called around and got quotes in the thousands of dollars range. I decided i wanted to save money and paint my vans myself so looked online for spray paint and found this home depot close to my house that had a lot of inventory. This store also had all the tools i needed such as sandpaper, plastic sheets, etc. I just finished painting my vans and i am more than satisfied with my diy job. The man working at the paint isle also helped direct me to what i needed. Thanks home depot”

“I am writing because I had a wonderful experience in the Laurel, MD store because of Liban - one of the BEST sales associates I've ever encountered. He gave me his undivided attention, made sure he understood what I needed, helped me find what I needed, helped me to the cash register and then helped me to my car!!! I was so overwhelmed by Liban's attitude toward customer service, I offered him a tip. Much to my surprise, he REFUSED the tip and said he was just glad he could help.If there were more sales associates like Liban, I think more folks would come back to shopping in brick-and-mortar stores!!Thanks, again, Liban - YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!”

“This 5 star review is strictly ONLY for the garden department. The rest of this store needs a lot of improvement. There is a wonderful selection of flowers, plants and products for the gardener. Any time I have gone and need to find something or needed information on plants Jackie always seems to be there and is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend visiting the garden department. The cashiers are always very pleasant as well. I personally appreciate all the hard work and beautiful displays of the flowers!”

“This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance.
