“We have been clients of Howard County Animal Hospital for a couple of years. Recently, our rottie Harley Quinn spent a lot of time at the vet. Dr. Lance saw Harley first to address a mass on her side. He was thorough and kind throughout the entire visit; he laid out all of the steps we could take to figure out what was going on with our girl. Two weeks later, Harley took a turn and started declining very fast. She stopped eating and her face began drooping. We called the office and given a slot right away. Dr. Parker was amazing. He showed his concern and validated my own. He wanted to keep Harley to run some extra tests… what they found wasn’t good news. Dr. Parker gave me the space to ask a bunch of questions and even say a few curse words. In that short time, we learned our best girl wasn’t going to be with us much longer… The next day we saw a very significant change and knew we couldn’t let her spend another day hurting and suffering. I called the vet and again, we were given space that same day.

Dr. Parker made it a point to visit us in the exam room and assured us we were making the right choice for Harley. His approach was gentle and caring. Dr. Lance walked us through all of the steps and showed us grace in a time that we never imagined would happen to us. Harley crossed the rainbow bridge on August 11th.

Dr. Parker and Dr. Lance, along with their vet techs are incredible. It is obvious they truly care about the animals they serve (and their owners too). Their kindness, gentleness and grace allowed for just a small glimmer of light in such a dark moment for us. Dr. Lance mentioned “passing with dignity.” I take comfort in knowing that our girl is no longer suffering; I don’t think there is anything that could fill the void that Harley left behind. I am so grateful to the team at Howard County Animal hospital for their gentle and honest approach; I am also grateful for their time and grace during one of the hardest moments we face as pet owners.”

“Dr Feinstein went out her way to make me comfortable about my car’s health she replied to a post on Facebook and without any thought asked me to make an appointment my normal vet stated surgery dr Feinstein was confident surgery wouldn’t fix his problem she waived the exam fee and I only had to pay for the meds which is very hard to find shows how caring and compassionate they are about your animals. It’s not about money.”

“I owe Dr. Brenner and his amazing team SO SO much! I live in West Laurel and Thanksgiving of 2022 or 23 I had noticed my little kitty (Her name is Pepper) was breathing pretty rapidly and labored. At that time my normal vet was Rocky Gorge right off Brooklyn Bridge. I took her there, they said oh it’s nothing… a few days passed and it seemed like it was getting a bit worse, we took her there as an urgent visit and again they said that it’s nothing and that she’s probably just stressed. I can’t remember if we had taken her one more time there or not but after a final attempt with rocky I decided to go somewhere else urgently otherwise our cat was going to die. I was measuring her heart rate at about double the normal resting rates for cats was and I knew my cat better than anyone else and she was not ok. Took her to Brenner and within minutes he noticed she was not ok and asked to do an MRI or some scan of that sort to check on her organs. Turned out she was having bad untreated asthma attacks and her lungs were severely swollen. He gave her an inhaler along with a few antibiotics and she eventually got back to normal. If I had taken her any later, she could have passed away. And because of that I am super grateful at the whole team and Brenner animal hospital. Since then I’ve transferred my normal vet services for my cat and dog over to Brenner and I’ve been so so so happy since then. They’re always fast and can actually diagnose animals correctly. The vets there are incredibly gentle and passionate with the animals. They managed to cut my cats nails lol (Rocky Gorge was never able to).

10/10 would 100% recommend. They give very personalized treatment to your pets and they’re super affordable”

“My parents took our pets to Fairland Animal Hospital when I was a young girl and I remember my Dad always saying how much he respected Dr. Whall and team for the tender love and care given to our dogs. Now at 63 years of age, I'm taking my pets to the BEST EVER Veterian Hospital around. Recently, my 8 year old Yorkie needed dental surgery and Dr. Andrew Gough was the vet who cleaned and extracted quite a few teeth. When I took her in I was very nervous but after speaking with Dr. Gough he told me exactly what to expect and to not worry. He said, if anything changed he would call me so, prior to surgery he called and explained further .. I was relieved and assured things would be fine. A few hours later I was called to come and pick her up and that she did fine. Let me just say "AMAZING" she was more than fine.. you would never have known she had surgery. I went home with meds and was really thinking she would in pain.. NOT... she was up running around and even ate a little food ( if I let her she would have eaten more).. I can't THANK Dr. Gough and the great team of folks who looked after my fur baby. I'm so pleased, never in the many, many, many years have I or my family been disappointed with the service, care and love. THANK YOU FAIRLAND... THANK YOU DR. GOUGH !!! THANK YOU DR. Always very happy with the above and beyond service from the vets, the techs, and the front of the house staff who are friendly and helpful every visit. I almost hate referring people to Countryside because they are frequently busy and it can be a challenge to get appointments - although on several occasions now when one of my dogs has an immediate problem they have accommodated us for same-day visits. We trust them with the lives of our cherished ladies - I'm not sure there can be a higher compliment than that.”

Dr. Ogando—what a blessing to have her as a primary vet! she went above and beyond with Bigotes care. The WHOLE office had been amazing to Bigotes and I. Prices are much better here than other vet offices. I suggested to everyone to stop in here before any other vet office.
