“I enjoy shopping at Aldi. They have great produce at fair prices, with a decent organic selection also. And the overall selection is fine for my diet which doesnt consist of processed foods and other junk. Fairly priced produce is great. I don't need my apple to look perfect provided it's crisp and tasty.
This place isn't for everyone. And that's another reason why I enjoy shopping at Aldi. Rarely is it overcrowded and understocked with goods.”
“This store is a bit expensive, but the customer service is great and the organic food choices are satisfying most of the time. It’s best to shop earlier in the day and on certain days because sometimes the selection gets limited. I’ve always received help from the employees when trying to locate certain items and I absolutely love how they have trained their employees to give exceptional customer service. They are always willing to help and they will even load your groceries in your car for you. So even though the prices can be a bit high, I will continue to shop there and support them.”
“My daughter and I absolutely love stopping at this store. My husband sends me to grab him mangos that are simply a treat! The beautiful girlies there are fantastic so kind and always introducing us to delightful treats. When you stop by make sure you grab a pistachio ice cream bar you'll be upset you didn't grab two.”

“Clean with pleasant staff members. The produce looked fresh and there weren't any fruit flies (a problem I noticed at the Waldorf location on a number of occasions swarms ?). They did not have a single banana but had plenty plantains ??♀️. I prefer this location over Waldorf due to the cleanliness and the staff member handled my items with care. Typically cashiers try to ring so quickly that they bruise my fruit because they toss it into the cart. Thank you for handling my items with care. Keep up the good work!”

“I had an excellent customer service experience with Terron. After waiting in a long line, he greeted me with a smile and was overall very pleasant. Because of this, I felt comfortable enough to ask him about an item which was not stocked on the shelf and which was the primary reason for my visit. He told me he knows it is in stock and if I would like for him to grab it for me. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this above and beyond offer and quickly agreed only if it would not create trouble for him. He finished ringing up my items, disappeared for all of 30 seconds and was back with options of the requested item for me to choose from. The customer behind me wanted the item, too, and was happy to get one as well.
Hire more people like Terron. He is exemplary!”
“Vert friendly employees, clean, pleasant atmosphere, abundant grocery items on shelves. Some employees weren't up to par with their english and couldn't assist you but those who were were very friendly and helpful. Prices were a little on the pricey side but I did find some bargains.”
“This store is clean, always has alot of cool items in stock outside of the food. Chairs, grills, candles etc. Food is fresh staff is friendly and the store is really clean.The only issue is they could open more lines when its packed at this location.”

“I went to store #342 on 12/13/25. Michelle the cashier at the Giant was so nice and very professional! Michelle took the time to help me with my giant app that all of a sudden was acting like it wasn't trying to function well, Michelle took her time helping me and it ran into the time that she was supposed to be getting off of work. Michelle Still was willing to help me it was very frustrating for me and got very overwhelming Michelle helped me through the overwhelming and getting my giant app working as should have! Michelle was a blessing at that time of help! I could have left the store feeling pissed off overwhelmed and some more, but I did not thanks to Michelle! I left the store feeling great ? Thank You Michelle ? I really hope that Michelle will get the recognition for going way and beyond best customer service cashier from Giant Food Corporation! On February the 4th 2026 I went to the store 3:42 4119 Branch avenue Marlow heights Maryland 20748. The cashier Matthew was very professional and such the perfect gentleman! I really appreciate it how Matthew greeted me and welcome me to shopping at Giant! That makes you want to shop more at Giant the one where Matthew works! I hope when I go back to shop at Giant Matthew is still a cashier there it really makes me feel great when you're appreciated! Thank you Matthew! “This store has everything and prices are pretty decent. Very good to the neighborhood especially being that many may not own a vehicle and most of the residents of this community are of retirement age or a little younger. Very convenient and clean.”
“New store. Produce look good and shelves are well stocked. They pay attention to expiration dates and rotate old stock out. Parking is difficult to navigate (narrow spaces and narrow lanes). It seems to be designed for all compact cars. And there are a few handicap spaces.”

It can be a bit pricey, but the location is unbeatable, and it's a lifesaver when you need something quick without having to trek to Giant, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's. The staff is always friendly, and they're open almost all day.”

“Well coming from NY NY and having a variety of Spanish markets, or bodegas. For this market being In Maryland very close to Waldorf you would have thought that there selection of not only Spanish foods, but vegetable would have been greater, but understandably not. So that being said it's still a stop and shop if your looking for special Spanish foods. Not all.”

“I am 86 years old and have been grocery shopping for several decades. The M Street store is the major league of supermarkets. It is spotlessly clean, always well stocked and never out of specials. More importantly, the staff -- from the manager to the shelf stockers -- is friendly, personable and always volunteering to help, from locating my aisles to helping load my car. I can't recall a better, well-managed, helpful, friendly and professional staff. A bunch of positive adjectives in this review but every one is earned.”

I stopped by for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how convenient this place is—especially with its wide selection of Latin products. I grabbed some lunch from the food bar, and everything was warm, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—not too salty or bland. Truly authentic Salvadoran food! You also have the option to order in advance, which is a great bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back more often.”
