“Update 6/2023: so happy with the new management at Amano! They’re friendly, helpful and the inventory is much improved. I now go there more frequently to see what new things they have.Previous review: I'm so glad to hear others say they've had great customer service b/c it's been hit or miss with me. Sometimes i'll get a very nice sales woman and other times, like today, my daughter and i walked in, looked around the jewelry by the front register and left 5 mins later and not one person acknowledged us. We've also gone bought something there and literally, nothing was said to us. Not hello/can i help you/thank you for shopping with us. As i said, there have been times when they've been friendly but it's kind of odd that it's not consistent.”

“This store is GREAT for gifts, surprises, or just some nice finds to have around your home. It's also great for finding puzzles, games, or hobbies to do on your own. They also had quality cards for special occasions, and many unique items - and all for a good value - that really made me appreciate this store. It's a shop that's worth coming by over and over again, whenever I'm in the area to see what finds for sale the owner has managed to pull out of the top hat. And this isn't a second-hand shop.”

Be ready to spend some times because it's so stuff!!! It can be a bit overwhelming but take your time they have several people their to help it is a small space it's pretty organized and the prices OMG!!!! You can't beat them they are so reasonable!!! “I was just checking the hours and saw the absolutely bonkers bad reviews - this place does not deserve the bad rating. They are a great little shop.I grew up donating my old clothes so to be able to bring them here and sell a few items or some shoes I don't wear is such a good deal. They often don't pick all my stuff but will sometimes recommend a different Uptown Cheapskate location that would take my items.The employees are always nice and do a great job, the store is always clean and organized, and I've found some great quality items here including a vintage Coach bag and Frye riding boots.Their prices are fair for all the effort they put in - especially since they pay for the clothes vs donation-based. I love coming here and have gotten a lot of my closet from here.”
