“I had a good experience at the Ascend
I came to the Ascend without realizing that this business takes Debit or Cash. I had brought a credit card. Adam, who sold me my recreational, was understanding and polite, and offered solutions to my problem. I ended having to leave the Ascend to retrieve a payment method. When I came back, my order was already on standby, and Adam thanked me for waiting in line when I came back, which was nice of him.
I’m visiting from Michigan, where there’s a recreational shop on every corner. Every state has its own style of payment, and every store does too, it seems. I’ve had more than my fair share of hiccups at the checkout register in Michigan. And not everyone has been nice about it.
All this to say, the staff is well trained. The products are good. The prices makeu you go “way better than dc”. Cool beans”
“I went in to pick up my usual vitamins and supplements for me and my dogs. I get so many different things and they are always in different locations. The young man working in the store quickly helped me find them. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes tops.”
“This isn’t my original GNC, but I decided to come after work and visit Bowie town center. When I tell you, I am making this my main store from here on out! The customer service from Adriana was more than amazing! A quick pick up for protein, and creatine as a discipline gym goer, but she even took the time to inform me on pro program perks and more! She is very educated, and just overall has a great attitude, and consideration with her customer service! We all know spending before I holiday can be much, but She made my day! I will be back!”
“I frequently stop into this establishment during my work shifts for a protein snack or an energy drink. In the last year I have spoken with the manager and Tyler about my son and his struggles to gain weight. He’s in a 3% weight for his tall 6 foot frame. Tyler is such an amazing young man. He goes above and beyond with ideas and suggestions to help my son gain weight. He answers all of my questions and even helps me find tree nut free protein snacks since I have an allergy. He is a great associate and he is always pleasant to interact with. I will continue to shop here and try their suggestions. Great customer service!”

“Sitting here at my local GNC waiting over 15 mins for the store to open. When we pulled up sign said will return 11. We pulled up at 10:59. It's 11:13am & no one has shown to open the store. There were at least 3 other customers who also were waiting but eventually left. Just as we did by 11:15. Bad look for business! Updated-Correction as I was about to pull off the employee came & opened the store. He was very helpful so that changed the star rating I originally gave.”
“Read the reviews and was concerned but store is definitely under new management or just got it together. First time stopping at this gnc but it was wonderful. I was concerned about the flavor of a clearance item and homie behind the counter let me sample it to make sure I liked it. Incredible customer service and well kept store. This GNC is worth stopping at and doing customer service right.”
