“I’m glad to have a 5 below close to Gaithersburg area. Had almost everything I needed and it’s pretty organize. Prices have gone up but so has everything else. They even have a self checkout now.”
“Hit or miss store. If you have been, you know that there is a chance you leave with something you didn’t planned on getting. The prices are great. I am only giving 4 stars out of 5 because this particular store is sometimes disorganized with products spread everywhere. Just a little more organization would go a long way for the shopping experience.”
“I was there on May 8, 2025 at 16:51. My cashier was Doris at cash registrar 1. I went and buy some picture frames and a few food items and a card. The picture frames are very nice as well as the food and they have a nice selection of carts. Doris was very pleasant and did an excellent job with processing my check with no problems. Doris is honest, knowledgeable, polite, professional, considerate, respectful and showed they cared about the customer which I am glad I am one of them.”
“I've been going to the store for many years now. They always have a great selection and I'm always surprised by what I can find because the employees are so helpful. Last Mother's Day I was running late due to work and was able to enter the store quarter an hour to closing . I grabbed whatever balloons I saw, which were deflated And slowly dying. Just as I was about to check out, the wonderful staff stopped me and said that they could make me brand new. I would like to thank them so much for everything they do !”
“Nice Dollar Store. I think it's independently owned I love getting greeting cards, stationery, seasonal decorations, candles, and hand sanitizer here The man at the counter is patient and friendly I like the music they play in the store too!”

“This is a Spacious store conveniently located inside a strip mall with ample parking spaces.
They have great selections of garden section, craft materials, vase & containers, and more.
However, the organization of the items didn’t seem to be well managed. There are pegboards placed in the front of the shop and pegboard hooks were found on the completely opposite side of the shop. And among some other items that were not displayed properly.
There were boxes stacked in the aisles and almost taken up half of the aisles without any employees actively putting things out. Gave out of a poor management sense.
Overall, it’s not a bad dollar tree compare to other ones that can be a lot worse.”
“I'm so happy that there's dollar tree here, this is the only one nearest to my home.
It's smaller than I expected but there's still alot stuff you can find.
Price is cheaper and the store is good.
Not really happy with the cashier today March 15, 2025, not friendly at all.
Ive been with many Dollar tree store but most of them are friendly, but not this one.

“I shop at Damascus Dollartree about once a month for a verity of items. From utility items, kitchen, garden, and alot of low cost mycology tools.Every time I shop there I leave in a good mood. Staff have always been friendly and polite, even when customers aren't being particularly respectful. When I don't find what I'm looking for, I always leave with items I forgot (or didn't know) I wanted. And at a incredibly low price too.But.. today really stood out for me.Jennifer went well and beyond what I'd typically consider good customer service. She was polite, kind, and went out of her way to retrieve a simple spray bottle I really needed. Best part is I didn't ask her too dig it out of the back. I was fully set to move on without it and look elsewhere.Thank you Jennifer Mallick, you turned a good morning into a excellent day!”
