“This place is a hidden gem! It’s called European Market but they have a healthy selection of authentic Brasilian foods. Plus there prices are way cheaper than the other Brasilian spots in Wheaton MD.”

“This is generally my go to grocery store...it's not necessarily the closest, but it's not a heavily traveled store. When the kids were young it was great because the parking lot wasn't crazy and they got to know the regular staff. Now that the kids are older we still go here but the selection of products isn't necessarily the most diverse, so we tend to shop at several locations.”

“Cheap products that are comparable quality to higher end grocery stores. Only issue is that the secret is out and supply can't keep up with demand sometimes. Go on the days when they've just restocked, usually in the middle of the week, to avoid disappointment on missing out on some items.”

“Neither a big place nor a fancy place, but they sell all of the basics for Ethiopian cooking. Think of it as a convenience store for Ethiopian groceries. If you know what you want and you want it quickly, this is the place to go. Another review cited unfriendly staff. My experiences have all been positive.”

“After dinner at Big Greek Cafe, we stopped by Aldi for groceries. It was my first time shopping at an Aldi. Unlike most grocery stores, if you want to use a cart, you must insert a quarter to "rent" one while you shop. Like most grocery stores, they sell a variety of produce, breads, snacks, beverages, paper products, frozen products, meats, cheeses, and more. It's a great place to shop when you plan to make a charcuterie board - dried fruits, cured meats, cheeses, and spreads. Don't forget to bring your own bags because they don't provide any. We ended up getting poultry (including chicken thighs, corned beef, and lamb), cereal, assorted pita crackers, salsa, tortilla chips, blueberry jam, pesto, smoked oysters, and produce (including mushrooms, brussels sprouts).”

“I love this little grocery store. It reminds me of home. They have a money station and it's less expensive than other places I've gone to. The owners are very friendly.”

“While the variety of items may be limited, their canned vegetable options and prices beat Dollar Tree, they have a decent cheese selection, some good protein snack packs, and sometimes you can get quality meat on sale-- like I did with some ground beef yesterday at 50% off. Since I have been on a tight budget for the last 12 months, I have been doing much more price comparison shopping. Since I have to get water delivered, might as well get it for almost $2 less per case than Wegmans.”

“I love Aldi, but this one is always out of many items I always purchase such as pasture-raised eggs, certain yogurts, etc. It may be the times I visit, but other area Aldi stores don't seem to have the same issues as they do with more people stocking.”

“What a great array of items from varying Latin American countries. I am so excited to dig into all of these treats. Especially excited to see the difference between Honduran and Mexican tortillas. Though small, the owner packs in so many great items all worth exploring. Can't wait to go back. Altogether the items in the photo were under $25.00.”

“A very dank spot to get all your Latin shopping done! Great produce, household gadgets, toys and treats for the little ones, live crabs - this place gots it all. You WONT BE dissapointed!”

“Aldi is a German food chain that is growing fast in America, offering great values and a limited but complete assortment of products. It is convenient to shop, handicapped accessible, you do have to bring a quarter if you want a cart which you get back after you return it, so be aware of that. They also have clean bathrooms, man and self-checkout stations.”

“Nice and clean store with friendly staff. Good fruit and vegetables selection, with good quality, including organics products, but with higher prices (in general) than some other grocery stores around. They offer some store prepared meals that have good prices and quality. Very nice in store bakery with delicious cupcakes, cookies, cakes (among the best options around compared to other grocery stores) and pies, for a very good value. Nice cheese selection too.”

“Love this store, especially for produce prices. Some great meat items too. I got a nice 3lb chuck roast ~ 15$, made 5-7 small/medium portions with it. Delicious fat and marbling on the cut too.”

“Overall, I can almost always find the water brand I prefer and it's conveniently setup in a semi open layout. There are multiple self checkout lines and if you prefer to interact with the cashiers and other workers, most have been friendly in a genuine way. It can be a little pricey depending on what you're buying. They have the tahini brand I love and organic frozen fruit. You won't find too many organic fresh produce choices or halal or kosher meat.”

“This Giant has amazing departments. The front of the store has excellent customer service. The produce section always has a fresh selection if you visit before night. Dairy is always fresh as well. The bakery has the best baked goods in the area. I love their cakes, cupcakes, blue berry muffins, and chocolate chip muffins. The seafood counter has excellent customer service and fresh seafood worth your buck. The meat section, especially the chicken, seeds to always have some type of sale, and the meat is top quality. The center of the store is always stocked well. My overall experience at this Giant is always superb, and no other Giant in the area can top their value!”

“Best grocery store to buy day to day essentials. We get less quantity for reasonable prices for small family. Also items were pretty fresh and of good quality. Only thing I didn't like is the cent we need to put in for the carts, bec everytime it's difficult get the change.”
