“2026 Update: My Emotional Support Animal Niko got sick. He was in severe pain I couldn’t pick him up. They were fully booked with only Dr. Mustillo as the doctor. I was so distraught they were kind enough to take him in for the day and work on him between other kitties. They locate the cause and treated. I thought I was going to lose him the illness just came on so quickly. Pay attention to your cat’s litter box. If you notice them not go to the litter box or stop eating and drinking please get them seen ASAP. I can’t say enough about Vicki, one of the techs. She is always available to answer my questions and I have a lot. Thank you to the entire staff for saving my boy.
I just love this clinic. They only see cats and, as a cat dad obsessed with cats, I appreciate the specialization. Niko needed major dental surgery due to FORLs. I was so scared as he is my support animal for medical conditions I have; we are bonded at the hip. Dr. Kraut has been our vet for 10 years and she did his surgery. She reassured me throughout the day and even at 1 AM answered an email I had regarding post-op behavior I was worried about! The surgery was reasonably priced and they pulled out all the stops to help me. I’m truly saddened that Dr. Kraut will no longer be working at the practice as she moves closer to home. I do hope I can form a similar bond with a new doctor who will pick up where Dr. Kraut left off. The Vet Techs and front desk teams are amazing as well and answer all my questions as I help Niko heal.
Thank you to you all! Niko and I are so grateful to you! Thank you for your years of service, Dr. Kraut. Know you will be missed but we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
Joe & Niko”
“I wish we found Lansdowne Animal Hospital sooner! Dr. G is very knowledgeable and honest and the staff is kind and caring. I like that they are thorough with their visits and genuinely care for your pets. I also appreciate the follow up calls and quick responses to my questions.”

“I have been with Compassion since we adopted our first dog , Ginger, 10 years ago. Since then, we adopted a 2nd, Millie, who vibed like a chill old drunken sailor. There have been many calls/texts, sick visits, medications, and consultations within that time and I can honestly say every single contact has been nothing but top notch expertise and family friendly service from everyone there.
We had to put Millie down this past November, and as expected the staff were so kind, gentle and accommodating.
Keep up the great work.
Ginger says namaste (she’s all yoga vibe ?)”
“I've only taken my cat twice, but I have to say that everyone here is so kind. My cat is a crazed tiger at the vet, but they understand and try to keep the stress level down. Highly recommend”
“Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Bardsley & Katie was her assistant. It was our cat's 1st visit there. They took their time acclimating Raya to her surroundings. I had pre-medicated as they suggested knowing the history of our rescued momma kitty. Everything went so very well at an even, slow tempo. Kitty wasn't as sick as I thought she might be with respiratory symptoms which was awesome news! They went out of their way to ensure we left with a happy, healthy feline. And no judgment/condemnation for the matted patch on her back. My 1st long-haired cat so I'm learning & Dr Bardsley had great tips for me.
Raya's 2 beagle bros were already patients of OMVH, however, I hadn't met Dr Bardsley before. Every visit has been with great staff interactions from the front desk to checkout!”

“We brought our dog in from another urgent care facility as her issues seemed to be neurological. The staff at BVNS was very kind and caring. They kept our dog comfortable while preforming their work up on her. Then we talked with Dr. Wood. She very clearly explained our options and we discussed the different scenarios that arise from the options we had. She was very professional and compassionate while working with us during these difficult times. The front desk person, Arlette was also very patient and kindly answered all of our questions as first-time dog owners. Would recomend BVNS and their staff for dogs that need their services.”
“This place is amazing. They gave me extra time with a Chihuahua who had CHF. They love and help all my coonhounds now and have supported my fur kids through everything.”
“Absolutely wonderful! Everyone is kind, and patient. We were treated like old friends from the moment we walked in. First vet I've found that has knowledge of the sphynx breed. They even have one as an office cat! To top it off, they're prices are very reasonable.”
“I have been visiting Market Street for over10 years and genuinely adore them. Their staff is kind, easy to work with, and reliable. My favorite, Kayla, knows my pets names by heart and asks about them when she seems me around town. I feel like they give me sound, reasonable guidance. At Market Street, I feel like my family genuinely matters.”
“Extremely happy with Green Valley Animal Hospital. I have a very anxious (COVID) dog and they are excellent with her. They are great about keeping notes and adjusting her care as needed. Boarding has been excellent. Highly recommend this vet.”
“I love this place!! My usual vet recently closed, and it’s hard to find a new vet you can trust. I found Village Vet of Urbana, got an appointment for the next day (on a Saturday woo) and everyone there was amazing!! The whole visit took just over 15 minutes, they were kind, gentle and thorough. Very reasonably priced!! My cat loved them, which is honestly a blessing. I will be coming back!!”

“Daumantas - One of the true places you'll know your pet will last long years. They will open basically when you need them, like on new years eve. Which is something you dont get from lots of places. Keep it up. I think you deserve poolesvilles best clinic. Im happy there is one here because people would have to drive for miles to see a clinic. You are the best keep it up. The front desk will fall in love if you bring kittens in. ? I really love to hear the loving care in their voices. Love you 6 stars Son of Ruta - Crazy cat lady - Poolesville cats”

“We bring all three of our dogs here for vet care, grooming, and daycare and have zero complaints about any of the services provided.
We have a reactive pup who has difficulties with new people. The vet staff at Greenbriar have been outstanding. They are ALL so patient and caring, even despite our girl being absolutely terrified of them. They are always happy to accommodate her so she is as comfortable as possible.
Our Rottweiler also comes for day boarding and gets SO excited when we pull up to the Greenbriar parking lot! She can be a bit shy and standoffish, so seeing how eager she is to hug every single staff member in the building really warms my heart. We previously had her at a different daycare and she hated it, we thought she just didn’t like daycare- turns out she just didn’t like THAT daycare.
Lastly, we have a Cavalier puppy who goes to Greenbriar for grooming. They do a fantastic job with him, and are also very understanding of his puppy energy/antics. We just got him neutered there as well, and he is recovering wonderfully.
I highly recommend Greenbriar for daycare, grooming, and vet care. Seeing how much their staff love our dogs, and more importantly- how much our dogs LOVE them, says it all.”

“I have been taking all my animals since 2009 to this veterinary clinic. The staff is thoughtful and caring . Today I met a nice veterinarian Dr Fabrizi who took the time to explain to me the process of what kidney failure is and how can I make my cats life better. He was understanding and answered all my questions. I will recommend this vet clinic to anyone who cares for their animals ! And even though I live an hour away will not change them for no one. I know my cats and dog will get the best care!”
“I’ve been dealing with the vet a lot recently with my dogs, and last night I had to take my French Bulldog, Baka, to the emergency vet for cluster seizures. The nurse who helped us was Francesca, and she deserves to be recognized.
I’m usually very anxious at the vet because, to be honest, it often feels like a numbers game. I don’t always feel heard, and compassion isn’t something you can teach. But when I spoke with Francesca, something about her tone, the way she communicated, and the way she handled Baka brought me so much ease. A lot of people in this profession could learn from her approach. This isn’t me calling anyone else out — this is me saying that, for the first time, I genuinely felt okay leaving my dog with someone else.
She made an extremely stressful night feel manageable, and I just want to sincerely thank her for that.”
“I have been bringing my cat to vetco for 4 years now. Regular vet prices are ridiculously astronomical!! If my cat needs a Rabies shot and I bring her to a veterinarian practice,There would be a office visit charge and then charge me 2 to 3 times more to get a rabies shot then it would cost me at Vetco where there is not an office visit charge! So not only have I always had a good experience , To me it is a no brainer regarding pricing. I don't know about other situations when it comes to a cat's health , but if you need vaccinations , injections or just a general check up , you cannot beat Vetco for the money.”
“I had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Lexi. She was so kind and loving to my puppy. She was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the personal follow-up with my dog's test results. I have been going to Buckeystown Vet for 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the various DVMs that I and my dogs have had the opportunity to interact with.”
“Dr. Washington reminds me of the doctors from the PBS series, All Creatures Great and Small. Full of life, and so loving and kind towards animals. Great clinic, exceptional staff and technicians, superior care!
(Edit below added 4 years later than the above!)
Dr. Sweitzer and Emily provided exceptional care for my cat's dental surgery. The Leesburg Banfield Drs and staff are truly exceptional. Dr S provided extremely personalized care, and both he and Emily really take care of your family! 8/2024”
“I took my two dogs to Banfield, it was good experiences. Receptionist was nice and Dr. Johnson was nice and she took care of my dogs with good hearts. Vet assistant was nice too. I am glad that I found a good vet.”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Church and the patient intake coordinator, Kim.
The new patient paperwork is streamlined and is actually designed for the 2am-half-asleep owners. The staff are excellent and so efficient, the initial exam occurred within 1min of walking in the door.
Along with the meds being filled literally 10min after the diagnosis - they also included a pill cutter which was such a thoughtful (and honestly unexpected) addition from an emergency vet.
Kim, Dr. Church, and the additional staff working that night are excellent - I am so grateful for all of them.”
“Went here for my dog almost 2 years ago, doctor andrew was very patient and helpful. Our dog Rocky was very weak and the her body wasn’t accepting the medicine. Had to be put her down so she wasn’t in pain anymore. Dr. Andrew and the whole staff were very supporting through the grieving process and let us stay here with her for a while. Thank you”
