“Another stop on the 50 Best tour. Fully understand Ammoora's place in the top. The food was really outstanding. The sultana salad and baba ghanouj carpaccio to start, then the lobster tails and fasolia batenjan for a finish. Several of the desserts looked delish, but we were stuffed. Just some mint tea and arabic coffee to finish the meal. We had a wonderful evening. Our server seemed overwhelmed and service was a bit slow, but I think these days finding sufficient numbers of workers is difficult. That said, Markie who turns out to be one of the owners, more than made up for it, taking our coffee/tea order and providing a small complimentary tasting of baklava. In addition, a brief snippet of welcoming conversation showed us that she understands what a high level of service is all about. We will be back.”
“The Best shopping experience at a fairly new spot on Harford road. Classic Consigns by KYS is a total win!The owner Kimberly is so personable and will make suggestions if you need help.She was in the middle of prepping for a fashion show this evening but made herself available anytime we needed her.Prices are fantastic, selection is top notch and they even have a men's section.The shoe section was phenomenal.We just walked out with bagzzzzzz!!Kimberly thank you for everything. “This store is amazing. Not only do they facilitate community runs, but also they provide superb customer service. The employees use your account to help you pick shoes that align to your needs and wants. I also like this store because they have a treadmill on the premises to help the employees analyze whether or not the shoes you try on fit properly. I love this place! “OMG we are so excited to have met Steve and Dominick. My husband and I spent more than 2 hours with them yesterday, designing a bespoke tuxedo and a dress to wear at a black-tie optional wedding. We CANNOT wait for the finished items! They pulled our ideas from our heads and knew what would work. Run, don't walk, to meet these guys at their beautiful showroom in Mt. Vernon. The have gorgeous off the rack clothing and can probably design any item of clothing you have in mind.”

“What a beautiful little shop! I've never been to Milagro before, but in a desperate hunt for holiday gifts, I found myself stopping into practically every shop on the Avenue, including Milagro. I'm so glad that I did! Milagro is an eclectic shop that has something for everyone and every price point. They sell clothing, stationary, incense, jewelry, home goods and more. The overall vibe is earthy and free spirited. There are a lot of sustainable/fair trade products made with recycled and/or natural materials, which can mean a higher price point, but I thought the prices were reasonable considering the value and materials involved. I ended up purchasing some holiday decorations and cards during my visit, but plan to come back to look through the clothing and houseware selection again. What really stood out to me during my visit though was the service. The duo working today were an absolute joy! So friendly and welcoming despite the rain and gloomy day, they were laughing and engaging with customers like it was the best day ever. I love seeing people that seem genuinely happy in their jobs. It was clear that they believe in the vision of the store, and they created such a warm and joyful energy that they now definitely have a returning customer in me! Highly recommend you pay Milagro a visit for something special for yourself or a loved one.”

“Really love this store! I’m new to Hampden and have really enjoyed poking around here—I always find something neat to take home. Went in with a friend today and the sales associates were super kind; they even let me take a unique coat right off the mannequin and buy it. They made sure all our goodies were wrapped and folded and secure for the journey home, & boxed up our gifts too. “Got my make up serviced her. The makeup artist was really sweet. They have an area in the back of the store where you can get serviced. To book your appointment I suggest calling the store, I tried booking online but the booking page isn't up just yet. They typically run special during the weekend for $50 makeovers. I highly suggest is you need your make up done for a special occasion. They is plenty of street parking outside of the store.”
“Fantastic time at this locally owned store. The owner was kind, engaging, and accomodating. There is a wide range of garments for men and women to choose from, and authentic Kente. The owner also creates custom pieces. We found everything we were looking for and MORE. Parking is limited so you might have to park across the street. Worth it!”
“This location I find to be the best one in local area. It is always heavy on stock and light on customers. Security and controlled entry at front. Store is always organized and home goods , clothing and kids are always overflowing with items. I check here before I venture to other locations. Never had an issue with lines or people on this store”

And Even tho the line was long, it actually moved quite quickly. And they gave me a discount on the hat i got bcs it was missing a piece, so that was cool. Definitely recommend this place.”

“I've passed by sooooo many times and finally doubled back to take a look in side - walls of beautiful African Fabrics to choose from - Very bright beautiful colors and patterns to choose from - they do make clothes as well so you can talk with owner about her prices - I will definitely be back to have a few things made - prices are good - it's very hard to find these fabrics in regular fabric stores so if you're looking for "African Print" this is definitely a store to pop into”
“Update: i was here today, and the store has a wonderful selection of classic vintage clothing.. good qualities at reasonable prices. They also have some fabulous gifts to be had..not the run of the mill selection..For sure top quality clothing and gift goodies..Love this place still”
“Nathalie and her niece (Anita) are just among the kindest, professional, and lovely ladies. I initially was going to my pre-made appointment at Bella Bridesmaid’s Baltimore shop only to be turned down by the Elite’s Bridal owner (who is also the manager of Bella) after phone calls and emails with no notification that this store doesn’t do wedding gowns measurements (“her staff is not trained to do meticulate measurements”).I walked past Nathalie’s shop and thought to just drop by and explain my situation of being let down by Bella, and immediately she said she will help me. She did above and beyond with precise details. Grateful that one (shop) door closed and the other much kinder one opens. Thank you Nathalie and Anita!”
